BOSTON & LONDON--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Sword Insurance, a leading global provider of software
and services to the global insurance and reinsurance industries, has announced that it will change its name to
AgencyPort Software. The announcement was made at the company’s Annual User Conference and to its more than
120 Property & Casualty insurance industry clients worldwide.

“In over ten years of working with blue chip customers we have become known for innovative software, deep
domain experience and for project delivery teams dedicated to client success,” said Steve Hauck, co-founder of
AgencyPort and co-CEO. “While being owned by the Sword Group, we brought a number of innovative new
products to market, signed up new clients, established a strong European presence, and added an offshore delivery
team. With our original brand and our new strategic partner and financial sponsor, Thomas H. Lee Partners, we are
more committed and capable than ever to serve our customers’ needs.”

Over the next several weeks the company will update its website, e-mail addresses and other material to retire
“Sword Insurance” and operate as “AgencyPort” globally, including for the units formerly known as “Intech.” The
management team remains intact.

"The AgencyPort name is widely recognized in the insurance industry and importantly, it is associated with a high
level of customer satisfaction,” said Matthew Josefowicz, Partner and Managing Director of Novarica, a leading
research and advisory firm focused on insurance and technology strategy.

Co-founder of AgencyPort and co-CEO Eric Harnden added: “Unquestionably, the global insurance market is
awakening to the full potentialthat technology can provide in terms of competitive differentiation. AgencyPort is
positioned at the epicenter of our customers’ business and is helping them succeed through smart technology
deployments. This year’s global User Conference was an exciting time as we revealed our name change and the
roadmaps for all of our distribution and core processing systems.”
