Tips on making your interview go
             well!
      Schedule your interview
 Decide   1-2 p
 eople to write a letter to and/or call for an
  interview
 A letter followed by a phone call is more
  appropriate
 If you do not know who to call, see Ms.
  Sheaffer outside of class (unless a time
  arises in class)
               The Letter
 See  you grammar book for the format to
  type an official request letter.
 Complete and mail
 Hand-in copy of letter you mail to Ms.
  Sheaffer
 Ask for several time options for your
  interview
 Follow up within 3 days with a phone call
         The Phone Call
Plan your phone call by making a short list
  of what you need to ask so that you do not
  forget while on the phone.
Send a confirmation email from home saying
  you will be there for the interview.
Be there and dress appropriately
Good Luck!
             Be prepared!
 Have   a notepad
 Consider a recording device, BUT you
  must have permission to use it before you
  start the interview
 After leaving, spend time writing all that
  you remember immediately because you
  will forget!
 Dress appropriately! Think!

 Rewrite  your original questions for the
  interview
 Try to make them more interesting
 Have an introduction planned for yourself
  to break the ice and begin the
  conversation
