Polygons are closed figures that have straight sides.
triangles

       This triangle is
       made up by the
       two poles and
       the ground.
Squares are quadrilaterals with four equal
sides. A square also has to have 4 right angles.

A rectangle is a quadrilateral with two pairs of parallel lines.

                                                 is of a rectangle made
                                                 by the bars.
A rhombus is a quadrilateral with no right angles, but two pairs of parallel lines.

                               fence is
                               creating

                               rhombus

                               wires.
What I learned so far in math is all basic geometry. We learned about polygons
and angles and 3D shapes. I learned about 2D shapes also. We learned
about quadrilaterals, the four sided polygon. We also learned a lot about
Power Point and cameras and how to insert pictures. I really had fun so far,
but now we’re getting ready for the test. I am sad that we can’t do more on
polygons and everything else, but there’s everything else to learn in math.
