The treatment plant, consisting of a 4-cell lagoon system, treats wastes from a base population of 2,092. Outfalls 001A and B leave the domestic sewage lagoons and discharge 3 to 4 times a year under normal conditions. Outfalls 002-004 serve as overflows from 3 lift stations and may not discharge except under bypass conditions listed in the proposed renewal permit. Discharge conditions for each outfall group are as follows: Outfalls 001A, B, and 002-004 enter drainage ditches to Kelly's Slough (unclassified), which then flow into the Turtle River (classified II).
