2009 CEIBS MBA Recruiters Guide
In February 2010, 187 young professionals (including 76 from overseas) will finish their 18-month full-time MBA programme at CEIBS. Equipped with a strong business education and acumen from CEIBS and with an average of 6-years working experience, the MBA graduating students are ready to return to the dynamic business world. How to Recruit a CEIBS MBA Graduate: The CEIBS Career Development Center (CDC) is dedicated to bridging companies with CEIBS MBA graduates. We work closely with companies to fulfill their staffing needs. There are four options to recruit CEIBS MBA graduates. Your assigned CDC Consultant will work with you to find the appropriate way(s) or to customise other approaches to meet your staffing requirements. Option 1: Campus Presentations A campus presentation at CEIBS is one of the most effective ways for a company to increase their employer branding amongst the CEIBS MBA graduating class. The key dates for campus presentations are as follows: o CEIBS Sponsor Partners: from August 8th, 2009 o CEIBS CAREER WEEK for CEIBS Sponsor Partners: Aug 17th – 21st, 2009 (Students will not have class during that week. Sponsor Partners can choose to hold presentations during
daytime or evening)
o Other Companies: from September 1st, 2009
We highly encourage you to communicate your preferred campus presentation date/time with your assigned CDC Consultant well in advance.
Option 2: Job Postings Recruiters can send job specifications to their CDC Consultant to post the job openings on the CDC intranet, which is only accessible to the current CEIBS MBA graduating class. CEIBS MBA graduating students can then apply directly through this job platform. The key dates for job postings are: CEIBS Sponsor Partners: from August 8th, 2009 Other Companies: from September 1st, 2009 Option 3: Direct Contact Recruiters can directly contact candidates who match their specific profiles and backgrounds by referring to the CEIBS MBA CV book and/or the CEIBS MBA on-line CV database. The CV book and on-line CV database will be available in mid-July, 2009. Please contact your CDC Consultant to receive a copy of the CV book and/or to learn how to access to the CEIBS MBA on-line CV database.
Option 4: Recruitment Fairs CEIBS CDC will host a recruitment fair on the Shanghai campus in January 2010. Companies are welcome to participate in the recruitment fairs and meet with the CEIBS MBA graduating students. Details will be confirmed and released on the CEIBS CDC website (http://www.ceibs.edu/career) later this year.

CEIBS MBA Recruitment Guidelines: During the recruiting process, we highly recommend that companies channel their recruitment activities through CEIBS CDC. A smooth and efficient communication with your CDC Consultant will make your recruiting effort at CEIBS more effective. An early notice of interview arrangement will be highly appreciated. When making an offer to a selected candidate, we suggest you specify a deadline for the offers to be accepted and keep CEIBS CDC informed. Students who have accepted an offer in writing may not attend any additional interviews.
