Cross feed speed is 0.933 that of the lead screw speed.

Regarding the three main gears in my L44:
Large lower right - spindle gear as I recall - it is approx: 6" diameter
The gear just behind it is 3 1/2" diameter
The other (outer left) is 3" in diameter.
These are general sizes - they should be number of teeth sizes, but will give you a feeling
If the ones within yours are like mine without counting teeth.

NOTE: Naturally there is some relationship between the half nut and friction feed since they are based upon
the same gear set - except for the half nut/leadscrew and the friction feed gear.
The End Lever is in the end gear box - the handle just hangs down. Open the door - you will see a nut to loosen,
move the handle (there are stops to save the gears) and then re-tighten (as needed).
I have a top lever just to the upper left of the selector (single selector). It is a 3 position. Marked A,B,C.
The selector knob - pull out slide side to side - may have to engage leadscrew (forward-reverse) lever and hand turn
the gear box so the gears will engage.
NEVER move any of these with power on. You will chip a gear or worse.
(Don't know your skill level - sorry)
