					EAA First Flight Lesson
    Program Information
The First Flight Lesson program is
part of the new Young Eagles “Flight
Plan” which will help Young Eagles
move from the right to the left seat.

The Flight plan consist of the
following steps to help our future
pilots.
        Young Eagles “Flight Plan”
• Young Eagle Flight

• Sporty’s “Next Step” Complete Pilot Training Course

• A Free First Flight Lesson

• Access to Flight Training Scholarships

• Additional Scholarships for the Air Academy and Universities

             First Flight Lesson
              Student Requirements
• Must be a Young Eagle

• Must be between ages 14 - 19

• Must complete Part 1of the Sporty’s course
(Recreational).

• EAA will email student when eligible.

• Must have returned EAA parental consent form.

• Upon receipt of the
parental consent form, EAA     YOUR FREE INTRODUCTORY FLIGHT LESSON VOUCHER IS ATTACHED

                               EAA is pleased to present you with a complimentary flight lesson.

                               Below is important information:

                                       Download and print the attached EAA Flight Lesson Voucher.
                                       Visit YoungEagles.org/lesson to locate and select a flight school. You will also find
                                       important information on this web site about what to look for in a flight school and what

instructions on the Letter     3.
                                       to expect from your first flight lesson.
                                       Call or email the flight school to schedule your flight lesson. Mention you have an EAA
                                       Young Eagles Voucher for your flight lesson. They may ask for the contact information

and locates a flight School    4.
                                       from the bottom of the voucher to verify how to process it.
                                       At the bottom of the voucher is a message to the flight school. Only the school should
                                       validate the voucher.

                                       If the flight school does not participate in this program, you may be charged additional
                                       fees. Verify the flight school you choose accepts your voucher.
