Key Experience

Over the last six years, Alan has specialised in creating and implementing Internet and Web 2-0 based marketing strategies for public and private sector organisations. This has also involved delivering numerous awareness raising presentations on Web 2.0 and its implications for organisations of all types. Alan has co-authored numerous academic articles in the area of Web 2.0, Internet strategy and customer-focused strategy. He has co-developed a Web 2.0 Continuous Professional Development programme (www.web20cpd.com) which he is also helping to run in collaboration with the University of Strathclyde and he runs a professional networking community for the Global Tourism Industry called Tourism 2-0 (www.tourism2-0.co.uk). Alan also provides a range of valued system analyses, specification and project management services for Innovation Digital clients. Alan is a visiting lecturer at the University of Strathclyde, with an MSc in International Marketing and an EU approved management consultant.
