Please join us for this birthday bash, Hacienda Carmel will be turning 47 years old (just a youngster) on August 21 st. Please look out for a flyer soon. This will be the party of year, don’t miss it! TREASURE JOURNAL WORKSHOP #2 BY HEIDI MCGURRIN: Because Heidi’s last workshop at Hacienda Carmel was so well received we have scheduled a second one. This workshop is called “Treasure Journal of Inspiration and Metaphor” and is guaranteed to be even more creative and fun than the first one! Heidi is an internationally known artist and photographer, who just happens to live in the area. She makes being creative fun! Each person will construct a simple accordion book filled with pieces of old photographs, poetry and favorite keepsakes to create a beautiful handmade book that will be treasured for the rest of their life. The workshop will begin on Monday, July 27 and continue for the next 5 Mondays in August, August 3 rd 10 th , 17 th , 24 th and 31 st. All classes will be held in the Casa Fiesta. The class is made possible by the generosity of the Activities Committee and is FREE. Please sign-up at the front desk. This class is limited to 8 people, both women and men are invited..
