The name "Germany" is used from October 3, 1990, the date of accession of the German Democratic Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany. Deposits bearing a date prior to October 3, 1990. Since April 1, 1979, the territories in Europe of Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands are, for the application of the Hague Agreement, to be deemed a single country. Deposits bearing a date prior to January 1, 1975. Before January 1, 1975, deposits effected by applicants from any of the territories of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Between January 1 and November 25, 1975: deposits effected by applicants from the Netherlands Antilles or Suriname. As from November 25, 1975: deposits effected by applicants from the Netherlands Antilles. Deposits effected by applicants from the Netherlands Antilles since 1982.
