					       Guaranteed Admission to Master of Science in Management
                    Information Systems (GAMIS)
   UIC Undergraduates will be guaranteed admission to the Master of Science in
 Management Information Systems (MS in MIS) program under GAMIS if you meet
                              the following criteria:

       UIC Information and Decision Sciences (IDS) undergraduates who:
        Have completed 90 hours overall,
        Have a GPA of 3.00/4.0

       0 in the CBA core (100, 270, 355) courses, and
        Have a GPA of 3.00/4.00 in at least three IDS major courses

       UIC College of Business Administration (CBA) non-IDS
        undergraduates who:
        Have completed 90 hours overall,
        Have an overall GPA of 3.00/4.00, and
        Have a GPA of 3.00/4.00 in the CBA core (100, 270, 355) courses

       UIC/UIUC* non-CBA undergraduates who:
        Have completed 90 hours overall,
        Have an overall GPA of 3.00/4.00, and
        Have a GPA of 3.00/4.00 in three introductory courses, one each in database,
        systems analysis and design, and programming.

A student qualifying under GAMIS need not (a) take the GMAT, and (b) submit
recommendation letters. Once a student is guaranteed admission under GAMIS,
he/she will be automatically enrolled in the MS in MIS program after receiving the
undergraduate degree only if a minimum overall GPA of 3.00/4.00 has been
maintained during the last 60 hours of the undergraduate program.

Procedure
Please submit the one page GAMIS application form, the Graduate Application form
(available at http://www.uic.edu/depts/oar/GradApp.pdf.), the application fee,
personal statement (outlining why you wish to pursue a graduate degree in MIS) and
resume to the CBA Graduate Programs Office.

*Non-UIC applicants must also submit the additional supporting documents:

   1. Two sets of Official Undergraduate transcripts
   2. Two Letters of Recommendation

After we verify the information in the GAMIS Application Form and your submission
of the Graduate Application form, we will send you an admission letter. Note: If your
eligibility under GAMIS will depend on your last undergraduate term grades, please
talk to an admissions counselor in the Liautaud Graduate School of Business Office.
Students not satisfying the above-mentioned conditions are encouraged to apply to
the MS in MIS program after obtaining a satisfactory GMAT score.

Once a student is guaranteed admission under the GAMIS program, he/she will be automatically enrolled in the MS in MIS
program after receiving the undergraduate degree only if a minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 has been maintained during the
last 60 hours of the undergraduate program. A student submitting this form must have graduated within a year of application.
All applicants must also submit 1) Graduate College Application, 2) Application Fee, 3) Personal Statement, 4) Current
Resume *UIUC Students must also submit 1) Official transcripts from all undergraduate institutions attended
