It is hard to forgive and forget when we have had a serious wrong done to us. The
scripture word today asks a lot from us. It really asks us to be like the Lord who is
compassion and love, slow to anger and rich in mercy. The Christian community must
be seen to be one of forgiveness and mercy. At this Mass we continue the work of
reconciliation. The sign of peace before Communion is our prayer gesture of
forgiveness

From the Convent of St. Elizabeth in Minsk, Belarus. Award winner at the
International Festival of Church Music. Thursday September 15th at 7pm in the Parish
of the Most Holy Rosary, Tullow. Donations at exit. Proceeds will support the sisters’
work with the homeless, children without parental support and sufferers from drug and
alcohol dependence. Cds. Icons and Russian Souvenirs will be available after the
                                             Concert.

Coffee Morning in aid of the Carlow Home Care Team Thursday next 15th September
in the Carlow Shopping Centre from 10am onwards.

  Hacketstown Community Library new opening hours Tuesday 6-8pm Wednesday
10am - 3pm and Friday 6-8pm. The use of the Library is free, on Wednesday from
10am - 3pm we are having drop in centre for adults where thy can play pool darts and
table tennis, soccer table. €1 entry fee and 20 cent to play pool with free tea and coffee.
We will also have newspapers if anyone wants to come in and have a read.

Rainbows for Teenagers:
“Carlow Regional Youth Services are providing Rainbows for teenagers. This
programme is especially designed to support teenagers who have experienced a painful
transition in their lives such as a death or separation. The programme begins on Friday,
September 30th, 4.30pm, at The Vault on Burrin Street, Carlow. For further

Teenagers between the age of 12 and 17, their parents and anyone who would like to
volunteer to be a leader would be welcome at a meeting in the Hall Knockananna on
Wednesday 21st September at 7.30pm to discuss starting up a Foroige group in
Knockananna. Edel McGrath the Wicklow Foroige officer will be there to discuss the
possibilities.

Line Dancing resumes in the Hall Knockananna on Tuesday 13th at 7.30pm. The
classes now cost €5 per person and the class lasts for 1 hour. Come a long and step it
