workshops. My style of teaching is very versatile and can be                    
adapted to any age group. My personal work is predominantly              
landscape and documentary, focusing on the impact society

         Photography Tutor – The Friends Centre
        Responsible for teaching Photography Skills: Learning to use your DSLR to an adult learning course.
        Writing lesson plans and tutoring individually as well as to the group.
        Structuring the course to accommodate for weather, light conditions and student requests.

         Creative Practitioner – Creative Partnerships ‘Art at the Start’ Program
        Working with Early Years at Nurseries in East Sussex.
        Planning creative workshops for young children to explore colour and shape through photography.

        Liaising with current and new clients and establishing a trusting relationship in preparation for the big day.
        Manager of all administrative tasks such as marketing, tax, NI contributions, income and expenses, budget

Recent Projects

         Project Manager – The CompARTment Photography Project                      July – October 2010
        Wrote the initial proposal and set up the project; planning and organising a studio space for the project.
        Contacted local businesses and educational institutions to set up various workshops with local colleges.
        Planned the exhibition, corresponding with other artists to curate and organise the space.
        Conducted personal and community projects with the local residents and traders.

        Volunteer work for the Rwanda Youth Information and Community Organisation in order to improve their
         photographic archive and website.

         Workshop Co-ordinator – Fostering Network                November 2009 – August 2010
        Teaching young people photography through a visual and critical programme.
        Planning workshop material in recognition of feedback from students.
01/02/08 to 31/10/08              Brighton Photo Biennial
     Responsible for researching and compiling a database of national university contacts for promoting the
       festival, resulting in over 200 people from various institutions attending.
     Updating the online database and back office with partner and customer details internationally.
     Contacting advertisers and archiving press articles and adverts.
     Teaching college students aged 16-18 to work with children aged 5-11 in producing their own photographs as
       part of the education project Peer to Peer.
