SUBJECT:       2006 $700 COST-OF-LIVING (COL) SUPPLEMENT


Hourly employees eligible to participate in the Lockheed Martin Corporation Hourly Employee
Savings Plan Plus have the option of depositing the entire COL Supplement as a pre-tax
contribution into the Plan instead of receiving it as a cash payment.

If you wish to defer the COL Supplement into the Lockheed Martin Corporation Hourly
Employee Savings Plan Plus, you must complete an authorization form and return it to the
Labor Relations O/32-0S B/157 Column 1L6 no later than November 17, 2006.

Please note that if you elect to defer your COL Supplement into the Lockheed Martin Corporation
Hourly Employee Savings Plan Plus, the entire amount must be deferred. The deferral is not
matched by Company contributions, and the election is irrevocable.

A deferral authorization form is attached. Return this form ONLY if you wish to defer your COL
Supplement to your Lockheed Martin Corporation Hourly Employee Savings Plan Plus account.

The 2006 COL Supplement will be paid by December 15, 2006. If you are eligible to participate
in the Lockheed Martin Corporation Hourly Employee Savings Plan Plus, you have the
opportunity to choose how you receive your COL Supplement. You may take your COL
Supplement as one cash payment, or you may elect to have the payment deposited directly into
the Lockheed Martin Corporation Hourly Employee Savings Plan Plus as a pre-tax contribution.

If you elect to have the COL Supplement deposited into the Lockheed Martin Corporation Hourly
Employee Savings Plan Plus, the following conditions will apply:


       1.   The total COL Supplement amount (minus social security and disability taxes, if any)
            must be deposited in full.
       2.   The COL Supplement deposit will not be matched by Lockheed Martin Corporation.
       3.   The election to deposit is irrevocable. Consider your decision carefully.
       4.   The deposit will be allocated based upon your investment option in effect for
            your normal Savings Plan contribution.
       5.   The deposit will be subject to the withdrawal provisions of the
            Lockheed Martin Corporation Hourly Employee Savings Plan Plus.

I HEREBY ELECT TO HAVE THE 2006 COL SUPPLEMENT DEPOSITED DIRECTLY INTO
THE LOCKHEED MARTIN CORPORATION HOURLY EMPLOYEE SAVINGS PLAN PLUS. I
UNDERSTAND THAT THIS ELECTION IS SUBJECT TO THE CONDITIONS STATED
ABOVE, AND I UNDERSTAND THAT I WILL NOT RECEIVE A CASH PAYMENT.

Employee Savings Plan Plus, you must contact the Savings Plan Information Line at 1-
800-444-4015 or access your account via the Savings Plan Web Tool at
http://lmco.csplans.com to make an investment election, or the contribution will default
to the Stable Value Fund.
