Central Heating System Power Flushing Disclaimer

A power flush is a very effective and efficient way of cleaning systems that have
corrosion problems.

The success of a power flush will depend on the level of corrosion which has occurred
in the system beforehand. The process will cure most circulation problems, but cannot
undo the corrosion and decay that has led to the need for the system to be power

After power flushing the heating system it is rare for leaks to occur, but it is not
possible to carryout and internal inspection of the system beforehand and the need to
use a cleaning additive for effective cleaning means that occasionally we may find a

The advanced stage of corrosion required for such a situation means that the leak
would occur imminently even before power flushing. In our opinion it is better for such
leaks to arise whilst we are present so the problem can be rectified, rather than for it to
arise over a weekend or whilst the house is unoccupied.

Central heating systems that have been neglected over a long period of time or have not
been treated with a corrosion inhibitor may have severely compacted corrosion debris
in the radiators, pipe work or boiler and there is a slight possibility that even after
power flushing some radiators may not be fully effective or boilers near to failure may
stop working due to debris later breaking loose and collecting in the heat exchanger.

The price we have stated allows only for a standard power flush including cleaning
additive and inhibitor and if any of the above or similar problems occur during or after
power flushing we will not be held responsible in any way.
Any further work carried out would be at an additional cost.
