Xitron and Enfocus Extend Technology Agreement
Enfocus technology incorporated into Navigator GPS and Navigator RIP Manager

Ann Arbor, Michigan – January 12, 2006 – Xitron, the prepress industry's leading independent
developer and integrator of Raster Image Processors, RIP management software and workflow
solutions; and Enfocus, the world leader in PDF quality management solutions for the graphic arts
industry, today announced they have extended their technology agreement to include Xitron’s new
Navigator GPS and RIP Manager 3.0 solutions.

RIP Manager 3.0, the newest release in the Navigator GPS family of RIP and workflow solutions,
incorporates powerful Enfocus PDF preflighting, editing and certification capabilities for PDF documents
as a part of the new agreement. The technology platform also supports Enfocus Certified PDF workflows
used for optimal PDF quality assurance and for streamlining print production.

The two companies also announced that a special promotional begun in 2005 will now be offered with
RIP Manager. Beginning January 3, 2006 and running through June 30, 2006, Xitron customers who
purchase either Navigator GPS or Navigator RIP Manager will receive a copy of Enfocus’ Instant PDF
software, a $199 value. Xitron customers can either utilize Instant PDF themselves to create
specifications queue, or provide copies to their customers, facilitating the creation of quality PDF files
that will travel through a PDF workflow without problems.

“Enfocus is recognized as the leader in preflight technology and Xitron is pleased to extend our
agreement to include Navigator GPS and Navigator RIP Manager solutions,” stated Jim Thrush,
President of Xitron. “Xitron values its role as the leading solution provider for small to mid-size printers
worldwide. Incorporating Enfocus technology provides Xitron with an even more robust and competitive
product to meet the demands of the customers in our market.”
Patrick Van Dam, Executive Vice President, Worldwide for Enfocus, added, “Xitron is committed
to PDF for the long term. The company has incorporated PDF technology into all their RIP and
workflow solutions. We are pleased to extend this agreement to include Xitron’s latest product
offering, Navigator GPS and Navigator RIP Manager.”

Navigator GPS and Navigator RIP Manager
