Business Client Appreciation This speech provides a basic framework for a speech showing appreciation for a business client. You can easily customize this framework to meet your needs. Opening Perhaps too infrequently we take some time out to say thank you to the most important people in our business: Our clients. They are, after all, the reason we exist. And so it is that I would like to take this opportunity to show our appreciation to one of our best clients: [name of client]. I say this not simply because we appreciate the business, but also because working with [name of client] is such a pleasure. It is no exaggeration to say that working with [name of client] has been both fun and informative. Body Every so often, we are fortunate enough to have a client such as [name of client]. Having done their homework, [Name of client] came to us knowing precisely what they needed. They had done enough research about both their needs and our abilities to set exacting goals. They provided background information that was detailed, accurate, and sufficient that our people did not have to spend endless hours on the telephone attempting to get answers to basic questions. [Name of client]’s contact people are knowledgeable, and hard working, too. When our people needed some additional information, your people either had the information at their fingertips, or got the information quickly. For example, at one point [tell story about particularly difficult point in project or service where good interaction between your business and the client saved time and money. Mention specific names of the people involved from both companies]. When we get to work with client’s like [name of client], it is a supreme pleasure. The work goes swiftly and smoothly, unforeseen problems are taken care of with a minimum of fuss and disruption. Working together like a well-tuned machine, our people got through the project on time and at far lower cost is possible with [ahem] some of our other clients.
Lessons Learned But perhaps the greatest outcome of this whole thing is one
