DESCRIPTION: Speech for someone receiving an Individual Service Award. FOR WHOM THE SPEECH IS SUITABLE FOR: CEO, Management, etc. Tonight we are gathered here to remember those who go out of their way to serve others in need. These people do so much for the community, for the country, and most of all— for our society. In a world where people are mostly out for themselves, it is remarkable to find the kind of men and women who are openhanded and concerned for others these days. The generosity of these noble people is an encouragement to all of us. For that reason, their kind and selfless deeds will never be forgotten. Even though we may not agree with all of their views and actions, they do bring some order to this country. Without them this country would be in complete anarchy. Essentially, they are there to assist us. Third, I would like to show appreciation for all of the people who save lives for a living. These are doctors, nurses, emergency technician, surgeons, firefighters, and all those who spend much of their time to a large extent rescuing, recovering, resuscitating, and reviving others. They are truly important to us. In addition, I am truly grateful for the scientists who are researching a cure for diseases. Their endeavors are appreciated. Now I would like to express my gratitude for the policemen and policewomen who risk their lives to make the streets safe from criminals. It is because of their bravery that makes this neighborhood a great place to live. And last but not least, I am immensely obliged for the civilians who already have a job, but they consider it their privilege yet mission to be of assistance to all humankind. These indi
