NEW YORK CITY ITINERARY
APRIL 3 – 6, 2008
NYC Tour includes a 7 day unlimited Metro Card. Good for unlimited subway and local bus
rides until midnight, 7 days from day of first use.
Motor coaches will be available for Airport Transfers only.
Day 1: Thursday, April 3, 2008
TBA Meet in the Band Room at EPHS. Do not be late.
TBA Depart from East Paulding High School for Atlanta Hartsfield Airport for your
flight.
8:10am Air Tran Airways, Flight #360 departs from Atlanta Hartsfield Airport.
10:23am Air Tran Airways, Flight #360 arrives at La Guardia International Airport.
Proceed, with your chaperone, to the Baggage Claim area and collect luggage.
11:30am Board motor coaches to The New Yorker Hotel to unload luggage.
We will check in later.
Metro Cards will be distributed to each person.
Depart for Rockefeller Center.
TBA WELCOME TO THE BIG APPLE!
Arrive at the legendary Rockefeller Center. Explore the famous ice rink, the
majestic statues or Prometheus and Atlas, Channel Gardens and so much more.
Lunch on your own at Rockefeller Center. There are 8 fine dining and 23 casual
dining establishments to choose from.
TBA Depart together for the NBC Experience Store for your NBC Studio Tour.
After learning about NBC's past, you will have the opportunity to enter and visit
some of our most famous studios, including: (tour lasts 1 hour 15 minutes).

TBA Depart for Radio City Music Hall for the Famous Stage Door Tour.
We will walk together and the tours are in groups of 30 people spread 15 min.

beautiful art-deco interiors, learn the secrets of the Great Stage, one of the largest
indoor performance stages in the world; the stage's hydraulic system, still in
operation since the '30s; And as an exciting climax to the Stage Door Tour, guests
will meet one of the world-famous Radio City Rockettes!
TBA After the Radio City Stage Door tour enjoy free time in the Rockefeller Center
area. Please do not miss going inside St. Patrick’s Cathedral. St. Patrick's
Cathedral is the largest decorated Neo-Gothic-style Catholic in North America.
Be sure to turn off your cell phone.
7:00pm Depart for dinner at Dallas BBQ in Times Square at 241 West 42nd St, between
7th & 8th.
Dinner includes: BBQ Chicken & Ribs, French Fries, Corn Bread, Cole Slaw &
Ice Cream Sandwich.

Day 2: Friday, April 4, 2008
7:00am Enjoy a Full American Buffet Breakfast in the Tic Toc Café in the hotel.
8:15am Depart for Battery Park to board the Circle Line Ferry for Ellis Island.
9:00am The ferry departs. Each person will go through security as if you were in an
airport. Enjoy Ellis Island for one hour.
10:05am Depart for Liberty Island. Be sure to get the correct ferry.
10:15am Arrive at Liberty Island. You ticket is an all-access pass allowing you to go to
the top of the Statue of Liberty. This should take a few hours for a large group.
1:00pm Depart Liberty Island for Battery Park.
Please be sure to get on the Battery Park Ferry or you will end up in New
Jersey.

1:10pm The ferry make a short stop at Ellis Island – Do Not get off the ferry.
1:20pm The ferry leaves Ellis Island for Battery Park.
1:30pm Arrive at Battery Park, NY.
We Will visit Ground Zero and the World Trade Center Memorial after
getting off the ferry.
1:45pm Depart for South Street Seaport.
Please enjoy shopping and dining, with 18 restaurants, food court and great
boutiques. Lunch on your own at South Street Seaport or Ellis Island.
4:45pm Depart for Times Square.
5:30pm Dinner at Planet Hollywood Times Square at 45th & Broadway0
Dinner Includes: Caesar or House Salad, Entrée Choice of Roasted Half Chicken
served with Mashed Potatoes and Seasonal Vegetables, Penne with Chicken &
Broccoli blended with a garlic basil cream sauce, ½ Rack of BBQ Ribs- Hickory
Smokes St. Louis Style Ribs served with French Fries and Cole Slaw.
7:15pm We will walk together to the Majestic Theatre (245 W. 44thSt), it is just down
the block from Planet Hollywood.
8:00pm It’s Showtime! Please enjoy the Phantom of the Opera.
It is a true classic. . Based on the Gaston Leroux novel, this story of seduction
and despair is told through a lush and romantic score by Andrew Lloyd Webber
and Charles Hart.
10:00pm Depart for your hotel.
11:00pm Lights out. Let’s get some rest!
Day 3: Saturday, April 5, 2008
TBA Depart the hotel for an entertaining breakfast at The ESPN Zone Times Square

9:00am Breakfast is served and includes:
Assorted Muffins & Pastries with butter & raspberry preserves, Fluffy Scrambled
Eggs, Crisp Bacon ~ Potato Tots, Sliced Fresh Fruit, Orange Juice, Freshly
Brewed Coffee & Decaffeinated Coffee.
TBA The East Paulding High School Band tour The Julliard School. (More
information at a later date.)
NEW YORK CITY ITINERARY

TBA Depart for the Empire State Building.
The Raider Brigade goes to the top of the city!
Enjoy the Observation Deck on the 86th floor! Everyone must go through the
security check when entering the building. No glass or bottles are permitted to be
taken to the Observatory. Cameras and camcorders are allowed but no tripods.
ONLY carry-on size and style bags, suitcases, backpacks, duffle bags, luggage,
etc., are permitted.
TBA The rest of the day is yours to enjoy – Free time in NYC.
Stay with you assigned chaperones.
For great Discount Shopping try Century 21 Department Store for huge designer
discounts (22 Cortlandt Street) as well as Chinatown & Canal Street for great
designer knock-offs. Be sure to have cash for Canal Street, between 6th & Baxter
which is the main hub.
Lunch is on your own today, enjoy your free afternoon in New York.
8:00pm East Paulding High School Raider Brigade meet at Hard Rock Café.
Dinner includes Blackened Chicken Pasta Served with Garlic Toast, ½ Rack of
Bar-Be-Q Ribs with Seasoned Fries and Cole Slaw, and BBQ Baked Beans,
Bacon Cheeseburger with Seasoned Fries, Herb Grilled Chicken Breast with
Smashed Potatoes, Gravy and Fresh Vegetables, Veggie Burger with a side salad
and dressing, NY Style Cheesecake, Coffee, Tea, Soft Drinks.
8:30pm Dinner is served.
TBA Return to the hotel.
11:00pm Lights out. Let’s get some rest!
Day 4: Sunday, April 6, 2008
7:00am Pack your bags for the trip back to Atlanta.

11:05am Air Tran Airways, Flight #361 departs from La Guardia International Airport.
1:35pm Air Tran Airlines, Flight #361 arrives at Atlanta Hartsfield Airport.
