Thank you very much for your consideration of Niagara Falls, New York to be host to the 2009
Rural Tourism Conference. Our mission is to outline why the Crowne Plaza Niagara Falls should

Newest Renovation in Niagara Falls
We are proud to announce the completion of our $25 million renovation. The quality, service and
amenities we have to offer make our Hotel the premier choice hospitality provider in Western
New York. The Crowne Plaza Niagara Falls recently received the prestigious award for best
overall renovation of the year for the entire Crowne Plaza chain of hotels, over 288 worldwide!
Crowne Plaza Brand Hallmarks
The Crowne Plaza’s defining elements or “brand hallmarks” clearly differentiate the customer
experience from our competitors and make us “The Place To Meet”. Our Brand Hallmarks are as
2-Hour Response Guarantee – The Hotel must respond to all meeting inquiries within
two hours of the hotel sales office receiving the inquiry, or the Meeting Planner is entitled
to 5% off the group’s master account once the meeting is booked and happened.
Crowne Meeting Director – You are provided with one dedicated Crowne Meetings
Director or Crowne Meetings Manager whose responsibility is to serve as the single point
of contact with each Meeting Planner, from pre-planning to on site event management.
Daily Meeting Debrief – The Crowne Meetings Director or Manager will offer a daily
meeting with the Meeting Planner for each day that an event occurs at the Hotel, along
with a final daily debrief.
Sleep Advantage Program – The Hotel offers a variety of components and amenities
that are standard with the Crowne Plaza brand to enhance our guests’ sleep experience.
Meeting Satisfaction Tracking System (MSTS) – The Hotel will distribute a survey to
all Meeting Planners to gain valuable feedback from their experience during their event.
The Crowne Plaza Hotel is positioned in the heart of downtown Niagara Falls. We are directly

Budget Car Rental
As a convenience to our guests, the hotel has negotiated a special rate with Budget Car Rental.
Budget will offer members of your group a discount of 10% to 35% off car rentals, depending on
class of car selected. It is quick and easy, either by telephone or internet to take advantage of this

In addition to the activities of Niagara, there are numerous arts, theatre, sports, and architectural
attractions in Western New York. Enjoy the Albright Knox Art Gallery, Buffalo Sabres Hockey,
Buffalo Bills Football, Buffalo Bison’s Baseball, tour Frank Lloyd Wright houses, the Corning

We offer ample complimentary parking for our guests in the adjacent, city-operated flat lot.
Guests staying in the hotel or attending a meeting for the day will, have their ticket validated by
our front desk staff.
State of the art aerobic equipment includes treadmills, Stairmaster and stationary bicycles, in
addition to a weight training station, is available to hotel guests. Workouts can be enjoyed while
watching one of the four plasma-screen televisions.
The Hotel has one of the largest and most beautiful indoor pools in the area. This newly
renovated area is equipped with a non-skid surface for safety, an in-area restroom/changing
facility for your convenience, and new poolside loungers for your comfort. This area is also
designed to accommodate small group gatherings in the Palm Court.
Old Falls Sports Bar & Grille
One of our most exciting highlights of the renovation is “Old Falls Sports Bar & Grille” which
features a 12’ high definition video wall and 16 flat screen plasma televisions throughout the
venue. Come early to score a comfortable lounge chair set in a stadium style seating and watch
your favorite team crush their opponents. Enjoy one of 12 different beers on tap at our 20’ bar or
an appetizer or sandwich off our new menu. New York State wines are available.
It is our pleasure to boast about featuring the area’s first “Starbucks”; the world renowned
gourmet coffee shop that is synonymous with quality. Come in for the world famous coffee,
enjoy their traditional comfortable seating, and bring your laptop to surf the internet utilizing our
complimentary high speed internet.
We feature 12 guestrooms that are fully compliant with all American with Disabilities guidelines.
All 12 guestrooms offer roll-in showers and the appropriate assistive technology devices.
Located on the second floor, we offer three guest washers and dryers. If you are in a hurry, drop
off your laundry for our dry cleaning service. Items dropped off by 8:00am will be returned by
5:00pm, Monday through Friday.

has the lowest per diem rate in New York State. Current prevailing government rates are $70.00
