8. DELIVERY

The delivery of this module will require one of two sets of circumstances.
These are either:
1 Workplace in which the work conducted includes activities relevant to the
learning outcomes of this module. The learner must have access to:
       · a workplace mentor (or facilitator) who has experience in the work
         relevant to this module
       · an opportunity to carry out the work relevant to this module under the
         supervision of the mentor
       · the time necessary to conduct this work
       · regular contact with a nominee of the training provider who can moderate
         the learning experience
or
2 A simulated workplace in which work relevant to this module can be conducted
in a realistic setting. The learner must have access to:
       · other individuals with whom they can interact realistically in the context
         of the module
       · equipment and materials relevant to the module
       · the time necessary to conduct the work
       · pervision approved by the training provider
       · regular contact with a nominee of the training provider who can moderate
         the learning experience

OFF-THE-JOB DELIVERY
A simulated work environment or appropriate exposure to workplace experience is
essential in the achievement of learning outcomes and assessment strategies.
ON-THE-JOB DELIVERY
This module may be delivered on-the-job where the learner is required to achieve
the learning outcomes through practical experience by application of skills and
knowledge. The learner should have access to a workplace facilitator or
supervisor to provide guidance in the learning experience.
