Approach 10 people with these words“Hello, I am __________ with Avon and I would appreciate it if you could help me by trying the samples I have here and letting me get back with you in a few days to get your opinion on them. Would you be willing to help me out in this way?” (If the answer is “yes”- get the person’s name, address, phone and the best time to reach them. If the answer is “no”- thank them for their time and move on to the next person.) 5. Follow up on the person with the lumpy brochure. Ask them specifically about each sample. Develop a rapport with them. Ask them if they have any questions about any other products – ask them if they would like to place an order. If not, ask them if they would like to continue receiving brochures. 6. Place your order.
