2011 CONVENTION NEWSLETTER
WOW! What a year it has been!! Can‟t believe it‟s almost convention time again.
Here‟s hoping everyone is making plans to join us for our “Mardi Gras” celebration. I know
you will appreciate the “Celebration” of flowers and the usage of them.
The board and committees have worked hard all year to make all of this happen for us. Many surprises are
n in store for you on the Trade Market Floor—many of your favorite vendors, some new vendors, Up Close
& Personal and some other surprises! Some new and different Arkansas Florists Academy classes are being
held this year. So come prepared to learn about new products, new techniques & shop „til you drop!
Hope all of you are as excited as I am for the upcoming ”Mardi Gras – A Floral Celebration Royale” and can‟t wait to see all the
great designers coming from all over the “Who Dat Nation” to share & teach all of us. I feel certain that there will be something for
every member to learn. Do not miss this opportunity.

GOLF TOURNAMENT WELL ATTENDED
The 4th Annual AFA Golf Tournament was held on Saturday, April 9 at Stone Links. A good turn out made for a fun filled day of golf, food and fellowship.
