Parents Tailgate for Most Holy Redeemer Inter-Parochial School Parents and supporters put on their favorite sports t-shirts and got together to cheer on Most Holy Redeemer Inter- Parochial School at the Tailgate Party 2010 on Saturday, October 23rd. The event was organized to raise funds for the school's new computer center. MHR fans were entertained all night by the band "Castle Rock" as they tailgated with traditional chips-n-dips, barbeque, sandwiches, and wings. Parents could bid on sports themed pottery from each classroom and try their luck for the great raffle prizes and chances to compete for Bucs Tickets and a Flat Screen TV. Entertainment provided by The highlight of the event was the four quarters of "In Castle Rock. it to Win It" games played throughout the evening. The Quigley’s & The Valles’ MHR fanatics battled in competitions such as enjoy the festivities. Noodling Around, Moving on Up, Hanky Panky, and Roll With It. Winners of each game received two tickets to a Tampa Bay Buccaneers Game and a chance to compete for a TV during the Junk in the Trunk challenge. The champion of the evening was MHR parent Colleen Kyle. She triumphed by strategically bouncing and shaking to get ten ping pong balls out of a tissue Colleen Kyle wins the Junk in the Trunk box strapped to her back contest and a flat screen TV. Hanky Panky Contest before anyone else. Spectators had a great time watching all the tough competitors implement their tactics. The event was a huge success for the families and students of MHR. Construction on the new computer center began last week and it was a great opportunity for parents and supporters to tailgate for a good cause.
