COIN MATH - "We gave this application to several children ages 4-8. All of them liked this
application best of the coin counting applications we looked at. It can be used either at home or
at school for learning to identify and count coins, and learning to make change. It can also be
used to learn or reinforce counting by 5's, 10's and 25's. As a teacher/parent, I appreciated that
both sides of the coins were used within the application, and the coins were to scale. The kids
quickly noted that they looked like real money."

90,000 synonyms and antonyms. No Internet connection is needed. The app also features audio

POCKET PHONICS - It is primarily aimed at preschool kids and those aged up to 7. To
understand the best educational practice underpinning abc PocketPhonics, order the free guide
to teaching kids to read from the app. LETTER SOUNDS Simply put, phonics (letter sounds)
is about helping children learn to read by understanding the sounds that letters make. Why
letter sounds (phonics)? Letter sounds (how we say letters when we use them in words) are not
the same as the letter names (what we call the letters). For instance, sound out slowly to
yourself "cat". And you can see that the sounds that make up the word are nothing like what we
call the letters. A child who knows their letter names won't actually find that this helps them to
read even simple words like “yes". By contrast, a child who knows their letter sounds will learn
to read words they’ve never seen before. PocketPhonics Lite teaches six letter sounds. The rest

POPMATH - PopMath helps you learn and practice basic math skills by adding a little
challenge (making you look for the correct bubble). How far can you get before the bubbles
begin to confuse you? You’re given bubbles with answers and bubbles with the equations.
You’re supposed to touch an equation and then touch the answer to it. After that you’ll see the
bubbles disappear, making it easier to answer the other equations (since there are less bubbles).
You can choose between addition/subtraction, addition only, subtraction only, multiplication
only, and division only. . .and you’re goal is to see how many levels you can get through. The
higher levels you get to, the harder the equations become (and the more you have to solve).
This application would be great for kids just learning their basic math skills. While I think it
would be actually fun early on with addition and subtraction, when they get into division and
multiplication (especially the advanced levels) I don’t think it will be as fun for the kid. But it is
a great way to learn (instead of having to get out the flashcards they can just play the game).

objective is to select the correctly spelled words as fast as possible. For each wrong answer, a
