array of Sci-Fi and fantasy trivia. She is light, winsome and charming, and her laugh can be quite disarming. Nevertheless, she is focused and determined about the
things she takes seriously.

SPECIAL ABILITIES:
Due to her transformation in the Emerald forest Victoria has a number of super abilities. She posses super strength
and hyper fast reflexes. She can easily lift over one half of a ton over her head. She can run at more than 30 mph.

Victoria is extremely tough. The transformation has left her effectively immortal and eternally young. While as
resilient and soft as ever her skin cannot easily be pierced and is a tough as modern Kevlar. Her bones, muscle and
other tissues are equally durable exceeding human norms by tenfold.

Victoria also has the ability to mentally communicate with any animal. She can only do this if she is within sound
range of the animal as the affect only occurs while is talking with the animal. With certain animals Victoria can also
command the animal to obey her wishes.

Due to her transformation Victoria has an extra heightened libido, and her already tremendous allure has been
raised to hyper sexual charisma. She can use these powers to seduce and tempt both men and women with great
skill.

SPECIAL LIABILITIES:
Victoria has a mild fear of spiders, especially those of a large and hairy nature.

Due to her heightened libido Victoria needs more sexual comfort than the average person. This has led to many a
wacky adventure.

BACKGROUND/BACKSTORY:
Victoria grew up in a modern US city near the east coast. Early on she developed interests in photography and animals. She also developed a keen interest in science
fiction, fantasy literature, and comic books. She went to university and obtained twin degrees in Biology and Photojournalism. She paid her way through college as
one of America’s most sought after web models.

After graduation Victoria went to work for National Geographic. She moved her base of operations to a small village outside of Oxford, England. While there she
began taking graduate studies in animal behavior part time. There she met Doc T. who was teaching a course on expedition science. Doc and Victoria went on a few
expeditions together up until the time she graduated. Doc and Victoria met again on Easter Island. He was investigating some strange sigils that had just been
discovered. She was photographing the famous birds of the island.

Doc T told Victoria about a discovery he had made about an ancient civilization, and he invited her to journey with him to a hidden site so she could record the
discovery. They traveled to the headwaters of the Rio Napo. There they discovered a cave with an underground river. Losing control they were swept into one of the
portals to Delugia.

DR. T
A traveling professor and researcher by trade Doc T is an expert in the ancient world and ancient civilizations. He is
routinely invited as a consultant in all things regarding ancient technology.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Doc. T is a tall, but stout man in his early forties. He stand’s a little over 6’1” and weighs in at around 300 lbs. He has
mousy brown hair with a few threads of silver. His medium brown eyes are framed in soft features. His bulk is
deceptive, as the layer of fat (his padding as he likes to call it) covers well toned and well used muscle. For his size,
Doc can move quickly over short distances, and has lightning fast reflexes.

Personality Description:

Doc T. is a jolly curmudgeon. He can be irascible and stubborn. He is a loner by nature. He can also be a solid friend
once he gets to know a person. With his few friends doc can be the life of the party, he loves great conversation, and
is willing to endlessly debate any point of interest. He is clever, highly intelligent, and somewhat over educated. Doc
doesn’t care much about appearance, or appearances, but he does know how to make a tremendous visual impact
when necessary.

SPECIAL ABILITIES:
Doc is a scientist, historian and Egyptologist. He specializes in the ancient and the arcane. He has above
average mechanical aptitude, and is fluent in several dead languages. These include Ancient Greek and
Latin, Ugaritic, ancient and middle Egyptian, Sumerian, Hittite. In addition Doc is the only person to
currently understand Proto-Elamite. Doc is the only person who has successfully deciphered the
Voynich manuscript, and it is the source of much of his knowledge of Delugia.

Due to Nymphet’s curse Doc can turns into a Blue Gorilla. This significantly increases his sizes, and
dramatically increases his speed and strength. Doc retains his ability to think and speak normally as a
gorilla. Normally, Doc can control this transformation at will, but when he becomes extremely agitated,
he may lose control. When doc was first cursed he transformed every time he got agitated or angry.

GENITALS

SPECIAL LIABILITIES:
Doc T. turns into a Blue Gorilla on occasion.

Due to an incident with a giant Black Widow in his youth Doc is a bit fearful of all large spiders.

BACKGROUND/BACKSTORY:
Doc grew up in on the west coast. Early on he exhibited an interest and facility with everything mechanical and technical. In high school he developed an interest in
ancient cultures and their technical achievements. At university Doc got bachelor’s degrees in history, archaeology and engineering. He went on to grad school and
then into doctoral studies. By the end of his formal education Doc T. had acquired multiple masters, doctorate and post-doctorate degrees. He began working on
expeditions to some of the most exotic and ancient of archaeological sites. Doc quickly developed a knack for managing expeditions in the harshest environments,
and quickly became a consultant for major expeditions around the world. He also began collecting and documenting strange artifacts. These were artifacts that
should not exist because they seemed too advanced for their era or seemed to pre-date any known civilization by millennia. He began teaching at various universities
as a visiting professor. He also began taking special expeditions to investigate his strange discoveries. On an expedition up the Rio Negro Doc discovered a monolith
and a tablet, both engraved with strange sigils. Doc had seen these sigils before, but always in isolation. With some work he was able to decipher some of the text.
From this investigation Doc determined that more evidence could be found somewhere above what is now called the Rio Napo.

At Oxford Doc T. met Victoria who was attending one of his classes on expedition science. Doc and Victoria went on a few expeditions together up until the time she
graduated. Doc and Victoria met again on Easter Island. He was investigating some strange sigils that had just been discovered. She was photographing the famous
birds of the island.

Doc T told Victoria about a discovery he had made about an ancient civilization, and he invited her to journey with him to a hidden site so she could record the
discovery. They traveled to the headwaters of the Rio Napo in Ecuador. There the discovered a cave with an underground river. Losing control they were swept into
one of the portals to Delugia.

BAD ROYT (BAAD ROYT)
Bad Royt is the current ruler of the Talku. He is Victoria’s number one pain in the ass, her primary enemy.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:

result of his attack on her Royt was cursed by Nympet, he now has tiny genitals.

PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION:
Royt is evil, vain, and selfish. He suffers from an advanced state of megalomania. Royt is determined to make everyone, everywhere submit to his rule and “obvious”
superiority. He is very angry at the world because he has tiny genitalia. He thinks Victoria should love and adore him because of his looks, strength and ambition.

SPECIAL ABILITIES:
Royt is about twice as strong and fast as an Olympic athlete. He is also ruthless, and possesses cleverness that manifests from a megalomaniac’s paranoid tendencies
rather than any real intelligence.

SPECIAL LIABILITIES:
Royt is stupid, and backward. He is delusional and megalomaniacal, and honestly believes he can do no wrong
because of his destiny.

He also has an explosive and violent temper which is easily triggered anytime he is denied anything.

His cursed genitalia have resulted in Royt not getting any sexual gratification in several years.

BACKGROUND/BACKSTORY:
In his youth Royt was briefly exposed to some exotic plants, possibly a variety of Ocmollia, whatever it was it was it
was a false essence, and not a true Immortal Essence. As a result he developed greater strength and stamina than a
normal man. However, while he is about twice as tough as the average human he did not get the significantly
greater durability granted by true essences. Nor did he get any improved longevity.

Royt became convinced that it was his destiny to rule all of Delugia, and then use that power to conquer the entire
“outer” world. He came to power by forming a subversive clique and then murdering the previous chief of the Talku.
Royt and his band then massacred everyone who opposed his rule and their families. He began calling himself Bad
Royt, after he was accused of being evil by one of his victims. Royt thinks calling himself “Bad Royt” is clever and
funny. No one else agrees with him, but everyone agrees that the name fits, so no one argues the point.

At one point early after he seized power Royt used an ancient artifact to subdue and capture Nympet. He intended to turn her into his slave, and then use her power
to rule all of Delugia. Nympet managed to free herself, destroy the artifact, and pronounced the “Little man” curse upon him.

GRAFAD (GRAH-FAHD
Grafad was the leader of the Technocronian faction in Prenoria. He was the mastermind of the project to create Delugia and gave Delugia its name. Grafad
mysteriously disappeared about 4000 years after Delugia’s creation. Rumors persist about him appearing from time to time, and the term Grafad’s ghost is a common
epithet in Delugia.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Grafad was atypical for a Prenorian. He was tall, with an average skin tone, but his hair was a dark auburn red. This was his most unusual trait. He had a normal build,
but a slight imp in his left leg.

PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION:
Grafad was sharp minded and an inveterate prankster. Rarely serious about anything except his work Grafad collected a mass of friends through his gregarious
nature. Nevertheless, when focused on his work he could be single minded and spend vast amounts of time alone, becoming a hermit to his task. His generous and
personable demeanor allowed him to amass a significant political repertoire, which served as the foundation for organizing the Technocronians.

SPECIAL ABILITIES:
Even amongst the ancient Technocronians Grafad was a genius of note. He was a master of Prenorian science, an
expert in every aspect of their technology.

SPECIAL LIABILITIES:
None

NYMPET (NIHM-PEHT)
Ancient Egyptian Goddess of Sex, long forgotten in the world above. Nympet wandered into Delugia when the ancient Egyptian culture began to wane. She set up a
small domain where she is worshipped by her followers and pilgrims from around Delugia. The M-nyow and the people of Kmt-Nfr especially worship Nympet.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Nympet is raven haired with a very pale complexion. Her eyes are a lapis lazuli blue. She is 6 feet tall and has a busty, hourglass figure. However, through her magical
abilities Nympet can appear in any form she chooses.

PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION:
Nympet is playful, willful and above all horny. She is demanding, adventurous and loves variety. She is fairly intelligent, and curious. She also possesses a great deal of
knowledge collected over her long existence.

SPECIAL ABILITIES:
Nympet is a goddess. She is immortal and nearly indestructible. She has significant magical powers, although most of her abilities center on transformation and sex.
She specializes in curses and blessings of a sexual nature, and often requires sexual favors in return for her blessings.

SPECIAL LIABILITIES:
Nympet is vulnerable to some ancient Delugian technology. In one incident Bad Royt used an ancient device to
subdue Nympet. Nympet’s only other real vulnerability is her dependence on sexual contact, without it she can
become weakened.

BACKGROUND/BACKSTORY:
Nympet became a goddess in the dim pre-history of ancient Egypt. Like many gods and goddesses of the ancient
world Nympet was transformed by exposure to Ambrosia and the Nectar of the Gods. She began her life as a
member of a minor noble house. To escape the stifling male dominated environment she became a temple priestess.
As a priestess Nympet was chosen to become a consort of the god Ra. In due course she became a goddess herself,
dealing with all things sexual. She chose the rare blue gorilla as her symbol.

As the ancient Egyptian world began to decline and as other gods faded away Nympet began to wander the world in
search of a new home. On one journey she discovered the entrance to Delugia, a land of legend, spoke of in whispers
by the eldest gods. Nympet packed up her entourage and her belongings and moved to Delugia. She was welcomed
by the remaining Delugians and settled near the great gate.

Her palace resembles a more extensive version of Hatshepsut’s temple at Deir el-Bahri. The palace is guarded by the Kesbedkey, men who transform into blue gorillas
while on duty. Nympet chooses only the most handsome and virile of men to serve in her guard, she does not choose them for their intellectual capacity. Nympet
frequently makes use of her guards to satisfy her sexually.

DELUGIA (DEH-LOO-JIA)
Delugia is a huge underground continent, located deep beneath the Pacific crust; Think Land of the Lost, Journey to the center of the Earth, the Land that Time forgot,
and the Lost World.

“This is not Atlantis, if you want Atlantis you’re under the wrong ocean” Biflarondal

BACKSTORY
Deep in the last interglacial period Homo Sapiens Cro-Magnon and Homo Sapiens Neanderthal cross bred in many locations. However, one group of these hybrids
would acquire a mutation and breed true. This new species, Homo Sapiens Primoris, was a bit smarter than their contemporaries. The typical Homo Sapiens Primoris
resembled a modern human standing around 5’10”. Their craniums are a slightly larger the average Homo Sapiens Sapiens. Their skin was a dusky tan, their hair
varied from blond to black, and their eye color varied from yellow to blue to brown and even occasionally an amber red.

Finding it difficult to live amongst the less advanced humans this growing clan relocated to an island home far from the reach of other primitive humans. They named
their new home Telluria. The species grew and advanced into a technological civilization. However, they were always careful to minimize their interaction with the
other humans on the planet.

As with many civilizations differences eventually lead to civil war. After the First Tellurian war much of the population moved to other small continents to found the
new nations of Mu, Thule and Prenoria. In due course a Second Tellurian War erupted. This time the war started between the new civilizations of Mu and Thule.
Eventually, Prenoria and Telluria took sides in the conflict. When the war was settled the new civilizations of Atlantis were founded.

By the end of the last glacial period Prenoria had grown into a mighty and technologically advanced nation. The world was changing dramatically due to the climatic
shifts. The other technological civilizations were lining up for war, with Mu and Lemuria aligned against Atlantis and Thule. The leaders of Prenoria were convinced
that the current world would be largely destroyed. They divided into three parties. The Etoltarians were the war party, they wanted to align with Mu and conquer the
world to preserve it. The Creshnarelians were a party that proposed abandoning earth to find a new world amongst the stars. The third party was the
Technocronians. They believed that they could use technology and magic to preserve Prenoria, and isolate it from the coming global changes and the approaching
war. The Etoltarians and the Creshnarelians began fighting for resources to carry out their visions. The war finally flared into reality with massive resulting
devastation. The Etoltarians armed themselves and left Prenoria to attack Thule. The resulting war was known as the War of Mastery. The Creshnarelians packed up
and launched a small fleet of ships to flee to the stars. Just as the devastation reached Prenoria in the form of massive tidal waves, the Technocronians triggered their
defensive technology. The bulk of Prenoria was transported to its current location, and assumed its current form. The leader of the Technocronians, Grafad, declared
that a new age had begun, and renamed the new world as Delugia.

The Technocronians were determined that life, and especially intelligent life would survive on earth. They were not convinced that humans would be able to survive
the changing conditions and advance. So the Technocronians began to create new races, new species, that they hoped would be able to cope with the new world.
They also began to revive long extinct animal species in the hope that they would be able to use the genetic information to create better species. Many Delugians
transformed themselves into members of these new species.

Grafad insured that there would be some contact with the outside world by creating portals that lead, via a type of teleportation, into Delugia. These portals were
scattered across the world. To control the access to Delugia these portals were designed to be closable. In order to insure that there would be minimal contamination
to the outside world through Delugian influence. Grafad made only one portal the exits Delugia, the Endless Labyrinth. Over time many people, entities and groups
have entered Delugia.

Over the centuries the Delugians became aware that the other primitive humans were succeeding in surviving and mastering the outside world. The number of
“True” Delugians, full-blooded Homo Sapiens Primoris, began to decline steeply as the new inter-glacial period dawned. Most of the Technocronians had come to the
determination that humanity should be left alone to find its own destiny, and to shape the outside world to their own devices.

The number of Delugians had declined to fewer than one hundred by 5000 B.C.E. At this time a young Technocronian named Mencrodi rose to power. He had come
to believe that he could make a “better” world, and that primitive humans in the outside world were degenerate. Mencrodi decided he would use his science to
conquer Delugia and the entire outside world. To this end he created the Naknak to be the backbone of his army.

Another young Technocronian named Biflarondal, a direct descendant of Grafad, became aware on Mencrodi’s plans, and began working in opposition. Biflarondal
used the Fluffer-puffs as his agents and carefully gathered peoples and many of the remaining Technocronians from across Delugia to counter Mencrodi. Around
1500 B.C.E the escalating conflict broke into full fledged war. In the final desperate struggle below the Fire Falls Biflarondal managed to destroy Mencrodi, but only at
the cost of irreparable damage to himself. Most of the other remaining full blooded Delugians were also felled that day.

Before his death Biflarondal encouraged all beings in Delugia to consider themselves as true Delugians, and heirs to the Delugian heritage. He referred to this as the
New Dawning. As his last act Biflarondal hid the location and keys of the Endless Labyrinth.

After the war more humans entered into Delugia, sometime singly, sometimes in groups. There are enclaves of several “outsider” human civilizations, mostly ancient,
scattered across Delugia.

There are few, if any, true Delugians surviving today, but much of their science and technology persist. This is the world in which Victoria and Doc find themselves.

DESCRIPTION:
A vast and varied land buried under the south central Pacific. Most of Delugia is covered by thick jungle and forest, although there is some desert area. The terrain is
mostly hilly and mountainous, and great mountain ranges separate the continent into discrete areas.

THE DIAMOND SKY
Created by the Technocronians the roof over the continent of Delugia is more than 10 miles high. It is composed of Diamond interlaced with carbon nano-strings,
exotic particles, and Technocronian technology. It reflects the appearance of the sky outside (night and day), sun, moon and stars.

The nuclear detonations used during and after WWII showed up as temporary bright spots on the Diamond Sky to the great curiosity and wonderment of the
Delugians.

POPULATION
The population of Delugia consists of several native human and non-human groups. The civilizations have a wide diversity of levels of technical development, size,
power, and age. Several of the civilizations are remnants that have migrated from the outside world.

RACES & PEOPLES

TECHNOCHRONIANS (TEEK-NOH-KROH-NEE-UHNS)
Species Type – Homo Sapiens Primoris

The Technocronians were a faction of the culture of ancient Prenoria. They were responsible for the creation of Delugia. They are often referred to simply as
Delugians. The typical Homo Sapiens Primoris resembled a modern human standing around 5’10”. Their craniums are a bit larger the average Homo Sapiens Sapiens.
Their skin was a dusky tan, their hair varied from blond to black, and their eye color varied from yellow to blue to brown and even occasionally an amber red. There
are few if any Technocronians left in Delugia. If any remain they are well hidden.

MABU (MAH-BOO)
Species Type : Homo Sapiens Sapiens

The Mabu are a forest dwelling people who live at a pre-industrial level of technology centered on communal agriculture. In general, they are friendly and patient.
The closest related populations in the outer world are the tribes of Central Plains Native American’s. The Mabu villages are numerous and populous. Most of the
villages reside within the Valley of the Mabu. The Mabu practice an ancient martial art called Kumnan. Socially the Mabu are organized as independent communal
democracies.

TALKU (TAHL-KOO)
Species Type: Homo Sapiens Sapiens

The Talku dwell on the plains near Nympet’s domain. They subsist at a pre-industrial level of technology centered on individual agricultural plantations. The Talku are
suspicious and generally dislike outsiders, and they have been known to practice slavery. The closest related populations in the outer world are the tribes of
Southeast Asia. Up until Bad Royt’s take over the Talku were never outwardly hostile or aggressive. They have now become a warlike people. Socially the Talku were
organized as an elected monarchy, they are now organized under and absolute dictatorship.

KRI’LAK (KREE-LAHK)
Species Type: Insect

The Kri’lak are communal insects with a highly developed culture. Their technology is at an early industrial level, and has been so for the better part of a millennium.
The incorporation of some ancient Delugian technology and magic has given their technology a steampunk look and feel. This includes their wide use of dirigibles. The
Kri’lak somewhat resemble very cute, multi-colored lady-bugs standing on their hind legs. Share several mammalian traits. They walk upright, their children are born
live, and their eyes are large and have irises like humans. The Kri’lak are mostly vegetarian and are non-aggressive. If threatened they will defend themselves, and
their technology usually gives them an edge against more primitive peoples. Socially the Kri’lak are organized as republics and an assembly of republics. The Kri’lak
live in large monolithic hives constructed of stone and timber. Some of these hives are quite beautiful.

SHISH-USS (SHIHSH-OOSSH)
Species Type: Reptilian

The Shish-uss are a reptilian race. Their technology is at an early classical level, and has been so for several millennia. Their cities widely resemble the ancient Khmer
temples. Their culture and technology is based on mysticism and magic. The Shish-uss resembles dark brown or green bipedal Komodo Dragons, which stand around
6’5”. The Shish-uss are entirely carnivorous, and are extremely aggressive. They have been known to hunt and eat other intelligent races, although this is rare and
usually ceremonial. Socially the Shish-uss are organized as an absolute theocracy headed by the Queen Priestess and run by her various clerics.

CLICK-SNICK-FISS (KLIHK-SNIHK-FIZZ)
Species Type: Reptilian

The Click-snick-fiss are a reptilian race. Their technology is varies from primitive to advanced, although most caravans are at an early industrial level. They are entirely
nomadic. Although legends persist of a homeland, the Click-snick-fiss are silent on the subject. Their culture is based on nomadic caravans which vary from small to
huge. They are Delugia’s predominant traders. Where they are, there is a deal to be had. The Click-snick-fiss resemble light green bipedal mini-Charonosaurus’, which
stand around 6’. The Click-snick-fiss are omnivorous, and are extremely fond of fish. Socially the Click-snick-fiss are organized as family or clan caravans lead by elders.

MONOK (MOON-OOK)
Species Type: Primate

The Monok are a primate race closely resembling large chimpanzees. Their technology is at a hunter-gatherer level, and has been so since the race was created. They
are totally nomadic wandering their territories moving from food source to food source. Their culture is simple and pragmatic. They have little use for mysticism or
philosophy. The Monok are omnivorous, and are extremely territorial, but are only aggressive if provoked. Socially the Monok are organized into self governing family
clans.

GALDASHNO (GAHL-DAYSH-NOH)
Species Type: Homo Sapiens Titanis

The Galdashanso are a race of giant humans that stand an average of 12’ feet tall. They are a thin and excruciatingly handsome race. They were created during the
early history of Delugia. For millennia they lived and worked with Technocronians. Mencrodi was intrigued by their grace and power. He corrupted their genes to
build a master race for his new world, but he soon found that they were insufficiently intelligent and too arrogant for his needs.

The Galdashno then enslaved their brother giants, the Galdashanso. For a time the Galdashno were successful at controlling their slaves, but the Galdashanso were
stronger, smarter, and more numerous, and they managed to secure their freedom.

The Galdashno are arrogant, cruel, vain, violent and stupid. Their culture is medieval and largely uncreative. Their technology is at an early medieval level, and has
been so for the millennia. They are aggressive to outsiders and amongst themselves, with frequent wars break out between the various factions. Socially the
Galdashno are organized as individual petty baronies housed within walled towns. There is one city where the barons meet once a year in conclave. All manual labor
is handled by a serf class and by those being punish for social or legal infractions.

GALDASHANSO (GAHL-DASH-AHN-SO)
Species Type: Homo Sapiens Gigantis

The Galdashanso are a race of giant humans that stand an average of 16’ feet tall. They are a burly but very plain race. They were created during the early history of
Delugia. For millennia they lived and worked with Technocronians. Unlike their cousins, the Galdashno, Mencrodi was repulsed by their dull appearance, and feared
their intelligence.

The Galdashanso were enslaved by their brother giants, the Galdashno, but they managed to secure their freedom.

The Galdashanso are generous, intelligent and humble. Their culture is late medieval and vibrantly creative. Their technology is at a late medieval/early renaissance
level, and has been progressing rapidly since they freed themselves. They are rarely aggressive to others and even more rarely amongst themselves with. Socially the
Galdashanso are organized into loose agricultural communities, with all governance being handled by occasional local town hall meetings. Occasionally, grand
assemblies are arranged to deal with larger issues.

RISUUL (REE-SOOL)
Species Type: Quasi-Reptilian

The Risuul are one of two morphogenic species inhabiting Delugia. They are capable of transforming into one of two forms. Their standard form is a snake-like lower
half, and a hominid upper half. Their alternate form is completely hominid in form. In both form the Risuul have horns. Male have short horns that are usually
concealed beneath their hair. Females have longer pointed horns. Both males and females have long blue feathery hair that stands out like a crown or an aura. At
need Risuul can morph into and out of a winged form. Normally females do not show their wings, while males usually show their wings at all times. Technologically
the Risuul vary although most operate at a late classical level. Due to their morphogenic nature the Risuul can and do mate with other humanoid species. The
resulting children are always Risuul unless the Risuul has mated with a Cubae, in which case the child has an equal chance of being of either species. Risuul can
transform long time hominid mates into Risuul by injecting them via hollow claws they possess on their index fingers, and then having the mate repeatedly drink a
small amount of the Risuul’s blood over the course of three days. The mate must then willingly go into a meditative trance for several hours. This ritual is usually
reserved for life mates.

The Risuul served as messengers, spies, and counselors to the Technocronians. They have a strong empathic sense and now spend a majority of their energies on
counseling and tending to the emotional and philosophical needs of others. Socially the Risuul organize in small to moderate sized clans with no particular political
structure. Some clans travel constantly others create small villages.

CUBAE (COO-BYE)
Species Type: Quasi-Hominid

The Cubae are one of two morphogenic species inhabiting Delugia. They are capable of transforming into one of two forms. Their standard form is satyr-like with a
furred and hoofed lower half, and a hominid upper half. Their alternate form is completely hominid in form. In both form the Risuul have horns. Both males and
females have curved ram-like horns. The hair of the Cubae is exotic. Female Cubae normally have violet hair and male Cubae normally have steel blue hair. At need
Cubae can morph into and out of a winged form. Normally Cubae only display their wings in their standard form, but the can also have wings in their hominid form.

Technologically the Cubae vary although most operate at a late medieval level. Due to their morphogenic nature the Cubae can and do mate with other humanoid
species. The resulting children are always Cubae unless the Cubae has mated with a Risuul, in which case the child has an equal chance of being of either species.
Cubae can transform long time hominid mates into Cubae by injecting them via short fangs they possess on their upper canines, and then having the mate drink a
small amount of the Cubae’s blood. The mate must then willingly go into a meditative trance for several hours. This ritual is usually reserved for life mates. Cubae are
capable of small morphogenetic changes to sexually related physiology. Both males and females can adjust their sexual characteristics to meet the desires of their
current mates. Tis includes size of primary and secondary sexual attributes, as well as their skin and hair color.

The Cubae served as medics, diplomats, and concubines to the Technocronians. They can feed of the positive emotions of others, especially during pleasurable
experiences like sex. The feeding leaves the recipient healthier, and stronger. The Cubae now serve as traveling doctors, entertainers, and concubines. Socially the
Cubae organize in small to moderate sized clans with mostly family based political structure. All clans travel during most of the year, but during late fall to early spring
the Cubae return to small villages high in the mountains all over Delugia.

NAKNAK (NACK-NACK)
Species Type: Hyaenidae (Hybid)

The Naknak are a race of Giant Green Spotted Hyenas. They are bipedal and stand an average of 6’ feet tall. They are bulky and are hued in a variety of green tones.

The Naknak are one of the youngest races in Delugia. They were created by Mencrodi to be the shock troops and backbone of his army.

The Naknak are vicious, greedy and entirely nasty. They are not only carnivorous, but cannibalistic. They will eat any living creature they can, including any of the
intelligent species in Delugia. Their culture is primitive, nomadic and totally centered around warfare and hunting. Their technology is primitive, but they can steal
and use some technology from other species. While they possess human level intelligence, they are completely incapable of developing any significant technology
themselves. This inability is due to both cultural and mental limitations. They are always aggressive to outsiders and amongst themselves. Their entire social structure
is based on violence and dominance. Socially the Naknak are organized as roving bands dominated by the largest and meanest matriarch.

FLUFFER-PUFFS
Species Type: Fluffer

The Fluffer-puffs are a race of furry hominids somewhat similar to a cross between koalas, weasels and cheetahs. Fluffer-puffs (even adults) are unbelievably cute.
They are both bipeds and quadruped. They possess a unique pelvis that tilts and locks into the appropriate position as needed. When upright they stand an average
of 4’ feet tall. When they are on all fours they are extremely fast, reaching speeds up to 50 mph for sustained periods. They are slim but very fluffy, and are normally
the color of sand or bark. Their fur can act as chromatophores to change their color texture and patterns, allowing them to blend into any background. The Fluffer-
puffs have very nimble and dexterous fingers that are perfectly adapted to manipulating and creating technology.

The Fluffer-puffs are one of the oldest races in Delugia. They were created by Grafad to be lab assistants and guardians of various research projects. They still guard
the Valley of the Ancients, and the Valley of the Beasts. The Naknak are deathly afraid of the Fluffer-puffs, and the Fluffer-puffs are implacable enemies of the
Naknak.

The Fluffer-puffs are intelligent, and gregarious, but the can be overly querulous and are apt to ramble on about anything that interests them for hours on end. Their
culture is very deep, broad, and varied, with a focus on philosophical and artistic pursuits. Their technology is centered on agriculture, but they are at a post
industrial level of technology. There civilization is arranged in separate family farms centered about one large village. They are not particularly aggressive to outsiders
and or amongst themselves. However, they do study the Art of war, and posses a mastery of tactics, strategy, logistics and martial arts. In addition to their other
abilities the Fluffer-puffs have a singular method of self defense. When panicked or in danger a Fluffer-puff can emit a modulating sonic scream at 180 decibels. The
effect knocks most species unconscious, and all others are reduced to extreme nausea and vomiting for several minutes. Socially the Fluffer-puffs are organized as a
unified democratic-republic.

M-NYOW (EHM-NEE-YOW)
Species Type: Feline

The M-Nyow are a race of large felines. They are bipedal and stand an average of 5’ feet tall. They vary significantly in conformation and coloring. Some M-Nyow have
manes others do not. Some are yellow, some tan, others orange. Many have plain coats; others have spots, stripes, or splotches.

The M-Nyow are civilized and patient. Their culture is varied. Some M-Nyow are primitive, nomadic and totally centered around hunting, others are organized into
cities and ranching. Their technology is varies from primitive to early classical. The M-Nyow are entirely carnivorous, but they take great care to avoid cruelty or
excessive pain when they kill prey. They are only aggressive to outsiders when provoked and only amongst themselves during arguments. Their social structure is
tribal with each tribe having its own form of governance. However, the whole population answers to the High Walker. The High Walker is a monarch chosen by the
preceding High Walker and approved by a representative body. The high Walker may be removed from office if found guilty of a serious crime, or found to be acting
contrary to the interests of the M-Nyow as a whole.

KESBEDKEY (KESS-BEHD-KEE)
The Kesbedkey are the guards of Nympet’s temple and her domain. Transformed from the “choicest” men available, as a man the average Kesbedkey is 5’10” to 6’2”
and 150 to 170 lbs. When transformed into a gorilla the Kesbedkey mass 4 times their normal size. Therefore, the average Kesbedkey in Blue Gorilla form weighs
around 600 to 700 lbs and stands 5’ to the top of his head when on all fours. Doc T. is a notable exception. As a Blue Gorilla Doc T. dresses out at 1200 lbs and is 7’ tall
when on all fours. The Kesbedkey wear armor made from Organium which transforms to match their shape and size.

LOCATIONS

VALLEY OF THE ANCIENTS
One of two twin valleys, this valley was used as the location for the revivified and recreated dinosaurs brought into existence by Technocronian science. It is still
inhabited by many today. By paleontological measures the population is a mish-mash from many eras and geological zones. There are T-Rex and Raptors. There are
also a host of other wondrous creatures.

The valley is separated from the Valley of the Beasts and the outside world by the Silent Tower. This was the control location for the creation of most of the old and
new species in Delugia.

The valley is guarded by the Fluffer-puffs.

Occasionally, some creatures do escape past the tower, or by crossing the surrounding mountains through narrow passes.

VALLEY OF THE BEASTS
This valley was used as the location for the revivified and recreated animals that flourished after the Cretaceous period and prior to the Holocene epoch. These
creatures were brought into existence by Technocronian science. It is still inhabited by many today. By paleontological measures the population is a smorgasbord
from many eras and geological zones.

The valley is separated from the Valley of the Ancients and the outside world by the Silent Tower. This was the control location for the creation of most of the old and
new species in Delugia.

The valley is also guarded by the Fluffer-puffs.

Occasionally, some creatures do escape past the tower, or by crossing the surrounding mountains through narrow passes.

FIRE FALLS
The Fire Falls are a Delugian curiosity. A river of lava cascades over a 500’ cliff into a large lava pool. Some type of Technocronian technology keeps that lava from
cooling, and the pool never overflows, always remaining at the same level. The fire falls were the location for the final battle between Biflarondal and Mencrodi. For
this reason the falls are sometime referred to as Mencrodi’s Bane, of Biflarondal’s Tears.

THE ENDLESS LABYRINTH
The Endless Labyrinth is the sole exit from Delugia. It is a vast set of corridors, testing tunnels, chambers and puzzles that guard the way out. Only a person who has
the Keys can open the labyrinth, and only a person who has studied the keys has any hope of passing through the labyrinth.

THE GREAT CITADEL
The Great Citadel is the original city of Delugia. It resides on the shores of the Eastern Sea. Built by Grafad and his contemporaries, the Great Citadel was the home of
the Technocronians. Over the millennia residency in the citadel diminished. After the final battle between Biflarondal and Mencrodi the Great Citadel was completely
Page 20 of 30
abandoned. A significant amount of Technocronian technology can still be found within the citadel, but it has become a dangerous place with many hidden hazards.
Only the most intrepid of explorers will enter the citadel today.

VALLEY OF THE MABU
The Valley of the Mabu is formed by the Ma River. It stretches from the Circle Mountains to the confluence of the Ma and Bu Rivers. It skirts the plateau of the
Emerald Jungle and is the home for most of the Mabu villages.

VILLAGES OF THE MABU
These communal villages are the home for most of the Mabu. Most of the villages are in the Valley of the Mabu. Typically villages are located about one half mile
from either the Ma or the Bu Rivers. Most of the area around the villages is heavy jungle.

GALDASHNO VILLAGES
Located on a broad plain, these villages are the primary points of trade and governance for the Galdashno. The villages are small since most of the population lives on
farms or ranches.

GALDASHANSO CITY
The only large city of the Galdashanso, it is used only once a year for baronial conclaves and occasionally for ceremonial purposes. At all other times the city is largely
abandoned with only about 2% of the population remaining permanently.

GALDASHANSO BARONIES
Most of the Galdashanso live in the fortified baronial towns that are at the center of each barony. The number of baronies varies, but the average is 24. The borders
of the baronies are constantly changing due to the constant conflict amongst the barons.

TREEHOME OF THE MONOK
The Monok reside in homes constructed in the massive trees of their homeland. These constructions are extensive and occupy a large percent of their forest home.
The Monok wander from shack to shack as they cover their lands in quest for food and resources.

BIFLARONDAL’S TOWER
Biflarondal’s Tower resides near the Treehome of the Monok. During his lifetime it was his primary home and laboratory. The Monok guard the tower, but the wily
adventurer may manage to gain entry to the many mysteries within.

FIELDS OF THE M-NYOW
These broad sweeping grasslands are the home, hunting grounds and ranch lands of the M-nyow. They resemble a cross between the veldt and the ranch lands of
Oklahoma.

NEW ROME
A small city with a big name New Rome was settled by a Roman legion and camp followers that wandered into Delugia. Although the city has some grand
constructions like Old Rome, most of the city more resembles ancient Pompeii. The city is ruled by an elected general and a Senate.

JUNGLES OF THE SHISS-USS
These vast trackless jungles, deeply tiered in canopies are the home of the Shiss-uss and their temple homes. Wander them at your peril.

KMT-NFR
This broad and fertile valley is the home of ancient Egyptians that followed Nympet into Delugia. Immeasurable acreage is covered in farmland. Kmt is the ancient
Egyptian name for Egypt. It means “the black land” in reference to the fertile soil of the Nile valley. Nfr is the ancient Egyptian word for “beautiful.”

TALKU VILLAGES
These scattered villages dot the region outside Nympet’s domain. They are the home of the Talku people. The villages were once well maintained and managed, but
since the rise of Bad Royt the villages have become a shambles.

NYMPET’S DOMAIN
This paradisiacal jungle pleasure garden, filled with endless delights for man and woman is ruled by the Goddess Nympet and guarded by the Kesbedkey. Deep within
lies Nympet’s Palace. Although many pilgrims come to the domain, few enter this domain without Nympet’s knowledge, and fewer still dare to trespass.

NYMPET’S PALACE
Nympet’s Palace resembles a more extensive version of Hatshepsut’s temple at Deir el-Bahri. The palace is carved of whitest limestone, and embellished in gold and
silver. Its many walls are painted in deep, boldly colored murals depicting Nympet and stories about her.

ENTRANCE – GREAT GATE
This shimmering field of energy resembles a huge vertical pool of violet water. It is the sole entrance into Delugia. The gate is surrounded by a vast arch of carved
stone 100 meters high.

GALBIAN WASTE
The Galbian waste is a parched desert of stone and sand. No life grows within it. It never rains and the temperature is always above 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

MENCRODI’S TOWER
Mencrodi’s Tower resides within the Galbian waste, and guards the pass between the Land of the Naknak and the Jungles of the Shish-uss. During his lifetime it was
his primary capital, home, laboratory and fortress. Fear has kept the tower sealed, but the crazy adventurer might foolishly gain entry to the many terrors within.

EMERALD JUNGLE
The deep and fertile jungle is a veritable paradise. It is filled with translucent canopies, hidden valleys lead to endless small grottos with wild streams tumbling over
falls. Plant flower and bloom all year long, and fill the air with torpid fragrance. For many peoples in Delugia the Emerald Jungle is a holy place dedicated to the source
of life. It is a place they will not go. Deep within the jungle are the only known remnants of true Ocmollia, Latatimmia and Tramatila left on anywhere in or on earth.
There are giant crystals growing amidst the trees and bushes, glimmering in every shade of the rainbow.

EVTEMOR – LANDS OF MIST
Where the cold waters of the Evtemor Gulf hit the edge of the Eenya Lava Pits a solid wall of cool mist arises and flows inland. Evtemor is perpetually shrouded in
these fogs, and never sees the full light of day. The ground is covered deeply in soft green moss, and the only plants which grow are the tall Lilac heathers. No one is
known to live in these lands, and many will not travel through them. Legends persist of monsters and ghosts.

LAND OF THE NAK-NAK
The southern part of the Galbian Waste is the homeland of the Naknak. Nearly as desolate as the rest of the waste, the only fertile grounds lie to the south near
Mencrodi’s Tower, and along the edge of the sea. Few Naknak live here at any time, but most are drawn here from like salmon to the stream. Something in their
bones calls the Naknak to return here.

HIVES OF THE KRI’LAK
The Kri’lak live in communal hives built of spiraling crystal towers. These large structures glitter in the sunlight, and glow with internal light at night. They loom over
the surrounding lands like great diamond cathedrals.

FLUFFER-PUFF VILLAGE
This is the single urban area in the Fluffer-puff domain. The village covers several tens of acres and consists mostly of markets, small shops and scattered single level
apartments. The buildings are constructed of mud brick, glazed tile and woven grasses. While this is the major point of commerce for the Fluffer-puffs most residence
is transitory.

EENYA LAVA PITS
The Eenya Lava Pits are similar to the Fire Falls. A pools of lava cascades continually bubble and boil like some hellish sea. Some type of Technocronian technology
keeps that lava from cooling, and the pools never overflow, always remaining at the same level. They have a mystic cultural significance for the Naknak.

CIRCLE MOUNTAINS – MOUNTAINS OF THE SKY
These mountains circle the entire perimeter of Delugia. They are the tallest and most dominant feature on the entire continent, some reach to 15,000 feet.
Throughout their circumference the mountains are top by the Diamond Sky.

EASTERN SEA
The Eastern Sea is the largest body of water in Delugia. Composed of salt water and spanning most of western Delugia the shores of the Eastern Sea are home to
many fishing villages of different peoples. The sea also serves as the major trade route for eastern Delugia.

GULF OF EVTEMOR
The Gulf of Evtemor is at the northern end of the Eastern Sea. It has the deepest and coldest water in all Delugia. Water temperatures are usually around 36 Degrees
Fahrenheit.

MOUNTAIN SEA
The shallowest and highest of the salt water seas in Delugia. It is separate from the Western Sea by long narrow straits that tumble over a series of waterfalls.

WESTERN SEA
The Western Sea is the second largest salt water body in Delugia.

GODS

ABOUT THE GODS
There are several gods and demi-gods within Delugia. They vary in many ways. True gods are embodied spirits. They are immortal and nigh indestructible. Some of
them began as mortals. Others began as disembodied spirits that eventually took on mortal form. Those that began as mortals were transformed by their exposure to
all of the immortal essences, Ambrosia, Potosia, and Ethosia. They and their spirit counterparts are sustained by these substances to this day. True Gods are
immensely powerful beings that in many ways transcend even the power of the Technocronians at their height.

DEMI GODS
Demi-Gods are beings that have been transformed by a god, are the child of a god and a mortal, or are mortal that have been exposed to both one of the true sources
of the Immortal Essences.

FALSE GODS
False gods are powerful beings that use their power to pretend that they are Gods. Some of these beings use technology to manifest their powers. Others use
political and social power to pretend to the majesty of a god. A few false gods use the power bestowed upon them by false essences.

IMMORTAL ESSENCES

AMBROSIA - FOOD OF THE GODS
Ambrosia is the tertiary Essence in the transformation to godhood. It is derived from the fruit of the Latatimmia. Ambrosia is a solid essence composed of organelles
similar to mitochondria. This Essence vastly increases the sensitivity of a person to Chi’manu, allowing them to store Psycho-magical energies, and control Chi’manu
at both grand and minute scales. A small dose of Ambrosia will simply will induce paralysis and prolonged muscle weakness. However, a sufficiently large dose will
result in prolonged alpha state during which transformation occurs.

POTOSIA - NECTAR OF THE GODS
Potosia is the primary Essence in the transformation to godhood. Distilled from the nectar of the Ocmollia leaves, this liquid essence transforms the functions of life
at the cellular, genetic, and epigenetic levels rendering them immortal. All aging is stopped, and some reversed. Cells are brought to full health and vigor and random
mutation is prevented. Certain varieties of Potosia can also increase psychic abilities, although on a limited scale. Transformation also increase the bodies output of
Chi’manu by twenty fold. A small dose of Potosia will simply will induce an extreme stomach ache and vomiting. However, a sufficiently large dose over an adequate
period will result in a long heavy sleep during which transformation occurs.

ETHOSIA - AIR OF THE GODS
Ethosia is the secondary Essence in the transformation to godhood. It is emitted from the mature Tramatila mushroom during certain times and seasons. Ethosia a
gaseous essence composed of essential enzymes, and RNA. This Essence transforms the body, increasing metabolism, strength, speed and toughness of tissue to
significant levels beyond normal. A small dose of Ethosia will simply will induce a violent week long headache. However, a sufficiently large dose will result in a coma
like state during which transformation occurs.

FALSE ESSENCES
There are plants related to those that create true Essences. Many of them can create lesser or temporary effects similar to those created by true Essences. These
plants are sparsely scattered across Delugia. Rumors and myths say that some are still present even in the outer world.

TECHNOLOGIES
Technologies across Delugia vary greatly. There is ancient Technocronian technology, basic agricultural level technology, medieval level technology, steampunk-like
Victorian era technology, and some modern technology. Technologies are mostly culturally biased, but some artifacts of variant technologies may be found in any
group.

TECHNOCRONIAN’S SUPER SCIENCE
The Technocronians possessed extremely advanced technology and scientific understanding. In the realm of physics they were able to control factors down to the
string level. This allowed them to create exotic materials, strange energies, complex fields, and multifarious forces.

The Technocronians were equally advanced in the biological sciences. This allowed them to create new life forms, transform life forms, resurrect extinct life forms,
and generate life in truly exotic patterns completely separated from the Darwinian paradigm.

The last realm of the Technocronian’s science was by far the most outlandish. This third area of knowledge is loosely referred to as the Psycho-magical domain. The
psychometric and magical fields are energy forms and fields which pervade the universe. The Technocronians were able to use and access these fields. These fields
can be accessed by both organic and technological means.

Much of their technology and most of their weaponry were based on this domain. As a result of this dependence, both the psychometric and the magical fields were
vastly depleted as a result of the War of Mastery. Rare high-density pockets of these energies remain on Earth, but the background level is 0.001% of universal
normal to 3 times the diameter of the heliosphere. The Technocronians were able to protect these fields from the conflict so the field strengths in Delugia are near
normal universal levels.

CHI’MANU
Chi’manu is the generic term for the energies and structures of the psycho-magical fields. More exactly it refers to those energies and structure within and emanated
by living things.

TECHNICAL ITEMS

FIRE BLADES (A.K.A. BLADES OF TRUTH, SWORDS OF TRUTH)
A technological marvel left behind by the Technocronians. The blades can be adjusted to cut nearly anything, or to simply act as a club. They can produce a shield, or
a fire like glow to warm on cold nights. The blades can only be used be people that have a specific genetic profile, and a large amount Chi’manu.

NOTE: Victoria has two of these

DURIBINIUM
Duribinium is a transparent, extremely heavy, ultra hard metal used for construction, super durable casings, and weapons. It can take temperatures in excess of 7000
degrees before softening. It is also nearly invulnerable to Chi’manu energies.

NOTE: Victoria has a Duribinium tipped spear

QUALINIUM
Qualinium is a crystalline metal that can focus, tune and modify Chi’manu energies. As a result it can be used as strong energy source.

ORGANIUM
Organium is a memory metal that can transform in shape, scale, and density.

YORTANIUM
Yortanium is a super strong, super hard, super light metal that has the unique property of acting as a sponge for Chi’manu energies.

PEROLUNIUM
Perolinium is a crystalline mineral can transform energy from one form into another. The mineral come in several colors with each color corresponding to a specific
type of transformation.

DRABINIUM
Drabinium is a dull brown soft mineral that can absorb matter and transform it into Chi’manu energy. When exposed to Chi’manu energies Drabinium emits matter in
correspondence to the type of Chi’manu it is absorbing.

GROKTIUM
Groktium is a complex fibrous mineral that can store information about energy and matter patterns. Through use of this capacity Groktium can be programmed to
control energy fields passed through it.

BLESSING STONES
Blessing stones are an ancient Technocronian artifact. They resemble crystalline cubes with odd crystal controls and orifices. Matter can be placed into the receptacle
area of the stone and used to create things, substances, or perform actions.

The stones require mass to operate, but only non-living inorganic matter can be used. All living organic matter placed within the device will remain untouched. The
stones come in two sizes. The small size can absorb up to 1 kilo of matter once per hour and perform output that is equivalent. The larger size stones can absorb up to
10 kilos of matter once per hour producing 10 times the effect of the smaller stone. Stones cannot create living tissue.

The function of the any blessing stone is dependent upon its color. The following list outlines how each color acts:

Blue – these stones will create anything physical that they are programmed to create excluding living tissue. They have a single receptacle for input mass.

Purple – these stones will replicate anything physical excluding living tissue. They have two receptacles one for the input mass, and one for the object to be
replicated. NOTE: Doc carries one of these.

Red – these stones will create a single physical thing, excluding living tissue. They cannot be altered to produce anything else. They have a single receptacle for input
mass.

Orange – these stones will repair anything physical excluding living tissue. They have a receptacle and a touch stone. The receptacle for the input mass and the touch
stone for the object to be repaired.

Yellow – these stones will purify living tissue of disease or purify inorganic material. They have a receptacle and a touch stone. The receptacle for the input mass and
the touch stone for the object to be cleaned or purified.

Green – these stones will heal living tissue. They have a receptacle and a touch stone. The receptacle for the input mass and the touch stone for the object to be
healed.

Grey – These stones may be of any type but they are deactivated. Special knowledge is required to reactivate a stone.

Clear – These stones are dead due to damage or age. They must be rebuilt to work if repairs are possible at all.

Black – The second rarest or all stones, created by Mencrodi. These stones emit a beam that will kill and dissolve living tissue. They have a single receptacle for the
input.

White – White stones have no fixed program they can perform all of the abilities of all the other stones. They will conform themselves to fit whatever they are
programmed to do at any time.

BLASTERS
Blasters are a technology similar to Fire Blades. When a trigger is pulled a pellet of energy is shot down range. Damage and range is roughly equivalent to a .45 ACP
round. Rate of fire varies.

Bad Royt’s carries a blaster that is capable of a maximum of 12 rounds in one minute. All rounds can be discharged at a rate of 2 per second, but the weapon will take
the full minute to recharge afterword.

GUNS
Doc T. carries twin S&W .500 Bone Collectors and a Barrett 82A1 .416. Doc uses his Blessing Stone to make bullets for his and Victoria’s guns.

Victoria carries two S&W SD9s, and has carried a variety of rifles.

KEYS TO THE ENDLESS LABYRINTH
The keys to the Endless Labyrinth were created by Biflarondal to control, who, when and how Delugia may be exited. The exact nature of the keys is unknown at this
point.

WACKY SCIENCE
In addition to the combination of Technocronian, classical, medieval, industrial and modern technologies found in Delugia, there is also a wide variety of wacky
science that combines these various forms. Due to the psycho-magical influences there are many technologies that resemble things from old sci-fi movies, and
Frankenstein stories.

NOTABLE NON-SETIENT LIFE FORMS
Ocmollia –Potosia is distilled from the nectar secreted by Ocmollia leaves. This plant is only known to grow in the Emerald jungle. NOTE: Victoria has clothing made of
these – they were in part the source of her transformation.

Tramatila – a beautiful techno-colored mushroom is the source of Ethosia. This mushroom is only known to grow in the Emerald jungle. NOTE: This was another
component in Victoria’s transformation.

Latatimmia – Ambrosia is made from the fruit of this tree. The location of these plants is a carefully guarded secret known only to the gods.

NOTABLE CULTURAL ITEMS

BOOGIE BEADS
These are small crystal beads that are given to Kri’lak when they become adults. Children of the Kri’lak wear solid opaque beads. It is considered a great honor to be
given these beads as a friend of the Kri’lak. Other races have begun to adopt this practice. Each race and tribe has a unique version of the beads.

Most peoples and races in Delugia engage in a practice called To Touch the Sky. A youngster approaching adulthood goes on a quest to climb one of the Circle
Mountains to its top, and once there to place both hands upon the surface of the Diamond Sky.

PANEL 4
EXTERIOR: In the middle of a small clearing surrounded by jungle foliage.

Victoria stands, hands braced against the straps of her backpack. She is scanning the jungle her head slightly cocked looking and listening for a response. (She is
dressed in brown short-shorts and a grey midriff halter top. Each clings to her curvaceous form in the jungle humidity.)

PAGE TWO – AND ONWARD
Victoria hears an EEEP! In front of her

She heads up the trail leaving the top side of the clearing.

After a few dozen yards she finds Doc standing stiff as a board in front of two trees.

"Doc?" she says "Doc, what's the matter?"

"Spi-spi-spi… Spider" Doc says in a stammer.

"Spider?" "Doc, there are spiders all over this jungle. They creep me out too, but get a grip." "Where is it?"

"Hu-Huge Spi-spider" Doc says "Really huge spider, right there" doc says pointing.

She turns and looks in the direction he is pointing. After a second she focuses on what she thought was a small branch on the tree.

"Holy frak!" she yells, jumping back three feet. The spider, almost two feet across scuttles a little further down the tree trunk.

"Let's get the hell out of here." yells Doc. They both scramble quickly up the mountain side, almost running to get away from the eight legged behemoth.

They continue to scramble until they reach the top of the ridge.

"We should stay up here on the ridge top for now. We stand a better chance of finding that valley the villager mentioned if we do." Says Doc

"Ok…, but we'd better be careful it is kind of slippery up here.

"Right"

They trudge along the ridge looking to both sides as they march, but the foliage is still to thick to see much.

"Doc?"

"Yes"

"When I woke up you were gone, and all my things were packed."

"I left a sandwich out for you. Did the animals get it?"

"No, I got that, thanks"

"Uh Huh"

"Why did you leave? Scared the willies out of me"

"Huh? Oh, sorry. I wanted to get high enough to see the sunrise. Just trying to dial in on the location of that valley"

"Oh"….

"Doc?"

"Yes"

"Don't ever do that again Doc, not ever"

Startled Doc turned around, still walking, backward slowly. His eyebrow arched. "You've been in the jungle alone before," he said. "What was so different this time?"

"I don't know exactly," she said. "Something up here is seriously creeping me out."

"Oh." He said with a frown. "Sorry, I won't let it happen again."

"Doc," she said, "You better turn back around or you're going to fall."

Still walking Doc began to turn around his foot slips on some moldy leaves. "Shit! He yelled, disappearing down the mountain into the green.

His yell, "Oh Fuuckkkk," fades down this mountainside as he disappears.

Victoria ran forward looking to see where he gone. Just as she reach the edge the soil crumbles beneath her, she fell with a thump on her butt and slipping she
plunges down the trough made by doc's substantially wider posterior

"Shiiiit!"

Foliage and debris go flashing by as Victoria hurtles down the slope. With a stomach sickening suddenness she is in mid-air falling. Just as suddenly, she plunges into
cool water, and is over her head. She struggles to the surface and a hand grabs her arm. "Come on, we need to get to shore," Doc says "There's a current here and we
don't know where is goes."
