      Council decision appointing a new member of the Commission



Ms Androulla VASSILIOU has been appointed member of the Commission for the period
from 3 March 2008 to 31 October 2009, following the resignation of
Mr Markos KYPRIANOU.

The decision was taken by the Council by written procedure, concluded yesterday.
