The contents of this circular must be brought to the notice of all eligible officers and employees on your
establishment without delay. Components must ensure that all employees who the requirements of the
posts are made aware of this circular minute even if they are absent from their normal places of work.

KEY PERFOMANCE AREAS
Promote and maintain a positive image of the Hospital with the public and relevant stakeholders.
Compile and distribute hospital newsletter.
Ensure that the staff and the community are aware of the current events in the Hospital by
distributing print material, updating the notice board, taking photographs at functions etc.
Compile and maintain contact list by ensuring that internal hospital directory is up to date.
Provide advice to the management on strategic communication matters such as hospital strikes and
Develop pro-active contingency plans and measures to support the hospital to achieve its strategic
Co-ordinate special events in the hospital.
Manage visits of delegates from other departments and other agencies.
To control and manage the usage of notice boards and suggestion boxes.
Ensure that the patients’ complaints are dealt with promptly and in a professional manner.
Ensure optimal usage of resources allocated to the department.
