Annual Dinner Raised Record-Breaking Funds!
T he 18th Annual Dinner and Auction for Cat Care Soci-
ety was held on October 14th at the Denver Merchan-
dise Mart. This event was hugely successful and CCS raised

From the Diary of Trixie
9/14/2006
Hi my name is Trixie, and I have been staying at a shelter Wow, all this is very difficult for a
called Almost Home Adoptions for Rescued Cats. The young lady to deal with. I am used
director there, I call her Miss Kathleen, was very worried to being self-sufficient and always
about my leg. I could not walk on it, it hurt, and was a on the move. It has been such
hindrance to my natural kitten enthusiasm to be unable a stressful day, maybe I will just
to use it. Miss Kathleen took me to a “vet”. I had NO fun take a nap…
there, and hope I will not have to return there too often.
They held me on a cold table where I could not move and Zzzzzz

The next thing I know, I am at another “vet” place (The Cat I finally got the hang of the splint, and I can run and climb

to spend the rest of the afternoon cleaning my leg and

but I know I won’t be there too long. Now I can get ready to
be adopted. Adopted, I think this means that I will be pick-
