Professional Development Session
Presented by Deloitte Financial Advisory Services
DATE: Monday, March 26, 2007
PLACE: Detroit Athletic Club
Board Rooms 1-3
TIME: 5:00 p.m. Presentation
Today’s business environment generates vast amounts of data and information. Commercial investigations and litigations
increasingly rely on this data to help tell the whole story. Looking for a specific entry in a spreadsheet or single email, can
be daunting, but crucial – an entire business dispute or multimillion dollar litigation may hinge on identifying when a single
piece of data was generated-or altered, or deleted—by whom and under what circumstances. The key to managing such
huge volumes is turning the array of data into meaningful information.
Presented by Deloitte Financial Advisory Services (FAS), the session will be delivered by John Arthur (Jack) Walker.
Jack leads the Midwest Analytic & Forensic Technology (―AFT‖) practice, which provides the technical infrastructure for
forensic investigations and disputes, including Computer Forensics, Electronic Discovery, Hosting, Transactional Data
Management and Data Analytics. Jack’s background includes analytical work in Business Insurance Consulting,
Environmental Litigation, and General Litigation Support engagements along with Strategy, Operations, and Technology
