Use this guide to learn more about each of the ETFs offered by AdvisorShares, designed to seek alpha above similar index
based strategies that track a benchmark.
                                    Ticker       Strategy Overview
 Alternative Strategies - These strategies are designed to seek Alpha and be used as complements to a Core Strategy
 Core Tactical
 Dent Tactical                      DENT         DENT employs a tactical momentum strategy with an ability to go 100% to cash It
                                                 measures relative strength across asset classes to determine allocation and momentum
                                                 to determine exposure to the market.
 Cambria Global Tactical            GTAA         GTAA employs a broadly diversified global tactical asset allocation strategy, with the
                                                 ability to go 100% to cash by using multiple trend following algorithms to manage risk.
 Meidell Tactical Advantage         MATH         MATH employs a broadly diversified tactical asset allocation strategy, with the ability to
                                                 go to 100% fixed income and cash. It uses a quantitative process to measure the velocity
                                                 of change across asset classes to determine its allocation.
 Long/Short
 Mars Hill Global Relative Value    GRV          GRV employs a Long/Short global equity strategy with an emphasis on relative value. It
                                                 is designed to be “dollar neutral”, but not “beta neutral”, however during periods of strong
                                                 conviction for the manager, the strategy may increase or decrease long or short exposure
                                                 to +/- 50%.
 Rockledge SectorSAM                SSAM*        SSAM employs a long/short strategy that uses a proprietary quantitative analysis to
                                                 forecast each sector’s excess return within a specific time horizon. It buys the most
                                                 promising sectors, and establishes short positions in the least promising.
 Short
 Active Bear                        HDGE         HDGE employs a short only domestically traded equity strategy. It uses fundamental and
                                                 tactical analysis with an emphasis on forensic accounting and downside protection.
 Core Strategies - These strategies are designed to be part of a traditional asset allocation strategy
 Core Domestic Strategies
 Madrona Domestic                   FWDD         FWDD employs a broadly diversified domestic equity strategy based on consensus
                                                 analyst estimates of the present value of future expected earnings relative to the share
                                                 price of each security This strategy is designed to be a modern “fundamental approach”
                                                 to investment selection and allocation.
 TrimTabs Float Shrink              TTFS*        TTFS employs a broadly diversified domestic equity strategy with an emphasis on
                                                 investing in stocks with liquidity and fundamental characteristics that are decreasing their
                                                 float shrink, not increasing it.
 Core International Strategies
 WCM/BNY Mellon Focused             AADR         AADR employs a focused international growth ADR strategy with an emphasis on high

 Madrona International              FWDI         FWDI employs a broadly diversified international equity based on consensus analyst
                                                 estimates of the present value of future expected earnings relative to the share price
                                                 of each security. This strategy is designed to be a modern “fundamental approach” to
                                                 investment selection and allocation.
 Accuvest Global Opportunities      ACCU*        ACCU employs a focused international growth strategy using single country ETFs that
                                                 are selected based on a proprietary country ranking model to identify countries whose
                                                 markets may outperform other world equity markets.
 Core Income Strategies
 Peritus High Yield                 HYLD         HYLD employs a focused income strategy which does not rely on rating agencies;
                                                 instead doing their own fundamental business valuation to determine if a company
                                                 will pay it’s debt obligations or not. The strategy can have “variable risk” exposure by
                                                 allocating to cash when market conditions for high yield bonds are not favorable.
 Madrona Global Bond                FWDB            FWDB employs a broadly diversified global multi-sector bond strategy, with an emphasis
                                                    on historic yield curve analysis and mean reversion.
