Showtime is the only dance competition in Canada that awards full scholarships to The Edge
Performing Arts Center in Hollywood, California. With eight venues spanning all of Western Canada, the
best emerging dancers from over five provinces come out to take part in an event with the highest
level of adjudication in the country, performing a range of dance styles including: ballet, hip-hop, jazz,
lyrical, and more. To date, deserving young students have been awarded $1,000,000 in scholarships
and cash rewards. Showtime is currently supporting The Kids Help Phone as their official charity.
Winners receive cash scholarships, their photo published in the fall issue of the Dance Current, as well
as receiving beautiful crystal trophies. Every year $100,000 is presented in cash prizes and awards.
“The Showtime Promotions Scholarships have given me the chance to achieve my dreams.” said Nikki
Hutchinson, Dancer and winner of a Cash Scholarship in 2010. Showtime Promotions is happy to

Michael Jackson, will be there to adjudicate and award Hollywood scholarships.
Minniti has an extensive career as a dancer and choreographer; recently returning from tours in the

performed. Direction/choreography credits include numerous industrial, stage, and screen
performances for companies such as Warner Brothers, Reed Productions, Sybarite Productions, Kim
Freedman Productions, and Equity Fights Aids.
Garcia is an accomplished director, choreographer, dancer, and all around entertainer. He has had the
pleasure of lending his talent to projects with Adam Lambert, Sheryl Crow, Jane’s Addiction, Paula
Abdul, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Brandy. He has also joined forces with Jennifer Lopez, appearing in
