SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENTS:

2006                               Initiated the conduct of the Legislative Compliance
                                   Review on the Convention on Rights of the Child (CRC)
                                   – the first in the Pacific, for Samoa as part of its preparatory
                                   work for its first meeting with the Committee on the Rights
                                   of the Child. This review adopted the framework used by
                                   UNIFEM/UNDP for the Legislative Compliance Review on
                                   CEDAW for all Pacific Island Countries that have ratified
                                   CEDAW in 2005/2006.

2006                               Led and facilitated the preparations for the Government of
                                   Samoa’s delegation to Geneva to answer to its first Report
                                   on the Status of the Rights of the Child 2005.

       Responsible for the management of the National Government Women Representatives.
       Communicates regularly with the community through the Government Women
        Representatives and Government Representatives for Men.
