Opel Presents Katie Melua European Concert Tour

         Free download of “Walk Lightly On The World” over Opel website
         Electric vehicle Opel Ampera will accompany the singer on her European tour



Rüsselsheim. Singer and Opel ambassador Katie Melua begins her European concert tour
tomorrow in Dresden. Named after her current album “The House“, the tour will take the
artist to 51 European cities. The nine concert locations in Germany include Berlin (March
28), Hamburg (April 4), Munich (June 11 and 12) and Freiburg (June 21).


As the tour kicks off, Opel will offer the song “Walk Lightly On The World” available for free
download to Katie Melua fans. The MP3 file can be downloaded from Wednesday, March 9
at 10 a.m. (CET) to Friday, March 11 at 10 a.m. (CET) at opel-ampera.de and opel.de.
Fans can also get the song free of charge over the interactive iPad version of the Opel
Magazine, the Opel iMag.


Electrifying combination: Opel Ampera and Katie Melua live


The series production version of the Opel Ampera that just made its world premiere at the
Geneva Motor Show will accompany Katie Melua on her tour. Concert goers can look
forward to an exciting pre-concert experience, as they will be able to see the revolutionary
extended-range electric vehicle that eliminates range-anxiety up close. Opel also has a
number of surprises in store like a DVD and the possibility to download pictures of both
stars of the evening over Bluetooth. And Katie Melua fans can also send a live video from
the concert to their friends at the Facebook counter.
