The "Missing" Books Mentioned *In* The Bible

Description

Hello, as most of you know, this particular eBook is about the topic of the *Missing* Books that are Mentioned *IN* the Bible, excluding the Apocrypha and whatnot.

What The Most High God inspired for me to show you all is that there are *more* "missing books" to the Bible than the Apocrypha itself, and that *many* of these "lost texts" are mentioned *within* the Scriptures itself. With that said, let's see what the scriptures say about these other Books...

B.M.I.T.B.T.A.N.I.T.B – Page 1 Books Mentioned in the Bible, That are NOT in the Bible Shalawm Yasharahl (“Peace Israel”), as most of you know, this is my *1st* study guide on the topic of “Apocryphal/Missing Books”. What *YAH* inspired for me to show you all is that there are *more* "missing books" to the Bible than the Apocrypha itself, and that *many* of these "lost texts" are mentioned *within* the Scriptures itself. With that said, let's see what the scriptures say about these other Books: The Book of the Covenant (Exodus 24:7) Exodus 24:7 - And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient. From what many believe, "The Book of the Covenant" is supposed to be found in The Book of Exodus, Chapters 20-23, but from what we can find, there are no authoritative sources for that statement... However, if it is in the Bible, we would call this book the "Torah", or the *1st* 5 books of the Old Testament, which contains the laws, statutes, commandments, and covenants that *YAH* gave to Moses. Book of the Wars of the Lord (Numbers 21:13-14) Numbers 21:13-14 - 13From thence they removed, and pitched on the other side of Arnon, which is in the wilderness that cometh out of the coasts of the Amorites: for Arnon is the border of Moab, between Moab and the Amorites. 14Wherefore it is said in the book of the wars of the LORD, What he did in the Red sea, and in the brooks of Arnon, The *Book of the Wars of YAH* was supposed to be another "non-canonical book" mentioned in the scriptures that was/is supposedly totally lost. From so-called "academics", it is said to contain a nice collection of victory songs and poems, even though some scholars say that it reeks of Israelite-military history. Joseph Barber Lightfoot, an English theologian who lived during the 1800s, believed that this book and *The Book of Jasher* (Saphar Ha-Yashar in Hebrew) were one-in-the-same... Also, this book is cited in the "mediaeval" Book of Jasher in Chapter 90, Verse 48: "And the other affairs of Joshua and his battles and his reproofs with which he reproved Israel, and all which he had commanded them, and the names of the cities which the children of Israel possessed in his days, behold they are written in the book of the words of Joshua to the children B.M.I.T.B.T.A.N.I.T.B – Page 2 of Israel, and in the book of the wars of the Lord, which Moses and Joshua and the children of Israel had written." As being a *collaboration* between Moses, Joshua, and the ancient Children of Israel. Last but not least, this is what the "Jew-ISH" scholar, Abraham Ibn Ezra, had to say about this missing work: "It was an independent book, in which were written the records of the wars waged by the Lord on behalf of those that fear Him and was probably written in the times of Abraham. Many books have been lost and are no longer extant such as the Words of Nathan and Iddo, and the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel, and the Songs and Proverbs of Solomon". The Book of Jasher (Isaiah 38:7-8 -> Joshua 10:12-13 -> 2 Samuel 1:18) Isaiah 38:7-8 - 7And this shall be a sign unto thee from the LORD, that the LORD will do this thing that he hath spoken; 8Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down. Joshua 10:12-13 - 12Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon. 13And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day. 2 Samuel 1:18 - (Also he bade them teach the children of Judah the use of the bow: behold, it is written in the book of Jasher.) The Book of Jasher, or Saphar Ha-Yashar (in Hebrew), translates as the "Book of the Upright". It is originally referenced in the Book of Joshua & 2 Samuel. In the Septuagint, the book is translated as "The Book of the Just". The Book of Jasher primarily gives us a history of the Earth, from the beginning of creation right up to the period of The Book of Judges (in Israel). It expounds heavily on the accounts given in The Books of Genesis, Exodus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, and Joshua, and it reads just like the KJV, except it sheds more light on Biblical stories. For instance, it gives the reader more information on the era of Adam and Eve, as well as Cain and Abel, Jacob and Esau, the testimony of Prophet Enoch, the great Deluge of Noah's time, and even Nimrod's *dismemberment* at the hands of Esau. If you want to read the *Book of Jasher*, go here: http://www.docstoc.com/docs/7277037/The-Book-of-Jasher B.M.I.T.B.T.A.N.I.T.B – Page 3 The Manner of the Kingdom/Book of Statutes (1 Samuel 10:25) 1 Samuel 10:25 - Then Samuel told the people the manner of the kingdom, and wrote it in a book, and laid it up before the LORD. And Samuel sent all the people away, every man to his house. Even though there's not much information on this scripture/book, from what we can tell, it seems that Prophet Samuel was trying to teach the Israelites the difference between the *kingdoms* of other nations and the *kingship* that *YAH* had set up for them. Israelites were always a nation of followers (throughout the scriptures), so we understand that they wanted a king (-dom) just like the *heathens*, and this is why YHWH gave them King Saul, which was against his wishes... Since ancient Israel was a *theocratic* society, with *YAH* ruling *absolutely* but an Israelite king ruling *relatively*, the "manner of the kingdom" was supposed to teach the Israelites how their king's rulership was to be in order with *YAH*'s sovereignty over our nation, and the King was supposed to *enforce* the laws, statutes, and commandments of the covenant upon Israel in a righteous manner. The Book of Samuel the Seer (1 Chronicles 29:29-30) 1 Chronicles 29:29-30 - 29Now the acts of David the king, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of Samuel the seer, and in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the book of Gad the seer, 30With all his reign and his might, and the times that went over him, and over Israel, and over all the kingdoms of the countries. This book is another "lost book of the Bible" that was most likely written by Prophet Samuel, who also authored the Books of 1 & 2 Samuel located in The Old Testament. This book is also known as "The Acts of Samuel the Seer". However, it might be possible that this book is joined together in 1 & 2 Samuel, right along with the "Book of Nathan the Prophet" and the "Book of Gad the Seer". In 1 Samuel, Prophet Samuel dies half-way through the book, and 2 Samuel doesn't even talk about Samuel, even though it's named after him. The Book of Nathan the Prophet (1 Chronicles 29:29-30 -> 2 Chronicles 9:29) 1 Chronicles 29:29-30 - 29Now the acts of David the king, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of Samuel the seer, and in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the book of Gad the seer, 30With all his reign and his might, and the times that went over him, and over Israel, and over all the kingdoms of the countries. B.M.I.T.B.T.A.N.I.T.B – Page 4 2 Chronicles 9:29 - Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, first and last, are they not written in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite, and in the visions of Iddo the seer against Jeroboam the son of Nebat? Nathan, who in Hebrew means "YAH gives" or "YAH has given", was a prophet who was a servant to King David and King Solomon as well. He was the prophet who rebuked King David for committing adultery with Bathsheba and murder with her husband (Uriah). He was also the prophet who chose King David on behalf of *YAH*, from the children of Jesse. This book is also called, "The Acts of Nathan the Prophet". The Book of the Acts of Solomon (1 Kings 11:41) 1 Kings 11:41 - And the rest of the acts of Solomon, and all that he did, and his wisdom, are they not written in the book of the acts of Solomon? The Acts of Solomon is another "lost book of the Bible" that could have been written by Prophet Iddo, who also wrote other texts mentioned in the scriptures. Who knows, this book might have contained further information about our temple records, treaties, libraries, and even details on King Solomon's relation with the Queen of Sheba (Ethiopia). The Book of Shemaiah the Prophet & Iddo the Seer (2 Chronicles 12:15) 2 Chronicles 12:15 - Now the acts of Rehoboam, first and last, are they not written in the book of Shemaiah the prophet, and of Iddo the seer concerning genealogies? And there were wars between Rehoboam and Jeroboam continually. This book was written by Shemaiah the Prophet, who was around at the time of Rehoboam the King, Son of King Solomon. During this time, he prevented Rehoboam from going to war with Jeroboam (1 Kings 12:22-24 --> 2 Chronicles 11:2-4), and he prophesied of the punishment of Rehoboam by the Egyptian king Shishak (2 Chronicles 12:5 & 7). He is *not* to be confused with the false prophet who tried to discredit Nehemiah (Nehemiah 10:6)... The Prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite (2 Chronicles 9:29) 2 Chronicles 9:29 - Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, first and last, are they not written in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite, and in the visions of Iddo the seer against Jeroboam the son of Nebat? The Prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite is another "lost book" that was apparently written by Prophet Ahijah. The Story of the Prophet Iddo (2 Chronicles 13:22) B.M.I.T.B.T.A.N.I.T.B – Page 5 2 Chronicles 13:22 - And the rest of the acts of Abijah, and his ways, and his sayings, are written in the story of the prophet Iddo. This is another "lost book" that was written by Iddo the Prophet, who also lived around the same time as Rehoboam, right along with Prophet Ahijah and Nathan. Prophet Iddo is mentioned throughout a few other books, which makes him a prolific "minor prophet" for his time... This book is also known as "The Midrash of the Prophet Iddo". The Visions of Iddo the Seer (2 Chronicles 9:29) 2 Chronicles 9:29 - Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, first and last, are they not written in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite, and in the visions of Iddo the seer against Jeroboam the son of Nebat? The Visions of Iddo the Seer is apparently a text that was most likely written by Prophet Iddo, who once again, lived during the time of King Rehoboam and Jeroboam. This text is alternatively called "The Visions of Iddo" as well... Iddo Genealogies (2 Chronicles 12:15) 2 Chronicles 12:15 - Now the acts of Rehoboam, first and last, are they not written in the book of Shemaiah the prophet, and of Iddo the seer concerning genealogies? And there were wars between Rehoboam and Jeroboam continually. The book that contains the Iddo Genealogies is another one of the hidden ("lost") books of the Bible, particularly the Old Testament. And once again, it is another book that is credited to the prolific Prophet Iddo. This particular work is also called "The Genealogies of Iddo the Seer" and/or "The Acts of Iddo the Seer". Since this work can be found nowhere in the Old or New Testament, it is said to have been "lost in translation", whatever that means... The Book of Jehu (2 Chronicles 20:34) 2 Chronicles 20:34 - Now the rest of the acts of Jehoshaphat, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of Jehu the son of Hanani, who is mentioned in the book of the kings of Israel. The Book of Jehu is another "lost" book that was written by Prophet Jehu (-Ben Hanani), who also was a contemporary of King Baasha. Supposedly, he may have been a Levite placed in the Northern Kingdom of Israel, during Jehoram's reign and the split of Northern & Southern Israel, because he had seen the “cout d'etat” of Baasha. B.M.I.T.B.T.A.N.I.T.B – Page 6 This book can also be called, "The Book of Jehu ben Hanani". The Sayings of the Seers (2 Chronicles 33:18-19) 2 Chronicles 33:18-19 - 18Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and his prayer unto his God, and the words of the seers that spake to him in the name of the LORD God of Israel, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel. 19His prayer also, and how God was intreated of him, and all his sins, and his trespass, and the places wherein he built high places, and set up groves and graven images, before he was humbled: behold, they are written among the sayings of the seers. The Book of the Sayings of the Seers ("Sayings of Hozai" in the Masoretic Texts) is another text that has apparently been "lost". It is said to give us more information on the acts and prayer's of Prophet Manasseh. The Book of Enoch (Jude 14-15 - Enoch 1:9) Jude 14-15 - 14And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, 15To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. Enoch 1:9 - And behold! He cometh with ten thousands of His holy ones To execute judgement upon all, And to destroy all the ungodly: And to convict all flesh Of all the works of their ungodliness which they have ungodly committed, And of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him. The Book of Enoch is considered a "pseudepigraphic" (meaning "false inscription") work written by Prophet Enoch, who was the grandfather of Noah and the son of Jared (Genesis 5:18). Ironically, even though the "Christian" church doesn't consider this book to be canon, it is quoted in the New Testament (Jude) and by many of the early "Christian" (Israelite) churches hundreds of years ago. In fact, the Ethiopian Orthodox Church still considers it to be apart of the scriptures ("canon"), even in this day and time. For this work to not be considered "inspired", it sure was recognized centuries before *Ha Mashayach* (The Messiah) was physically born, and it was accepted by early "Christians" (Israelites), and the ancient "Christian" (Israelite) literature made *many* references to this important book. Up until 3rd Century A.D., this book was considered "canon", as far as the scriptures go, but when the Council of Laodicea happened, it was *banned* from the "canon" of the Bible. Not only was this book banned, but we would have to include over 40+ more books that were banned from the Council of Laodicea and/or Nicea. B.M.I.T.B.T.A.N.I.T.B – Page 7 The reason why this book was banned was because at that particular time, the "church elders" didn't agree with the contents of this book. Also, at the Council of Laodicea, the "fathers" claimed that keeping the *True* Sabbath (Friday-Saturday *sundown*) was a sin, when it reality it is a commandment that *Israelite's* (only) must keep... Unfortunately, in the eyes of these men, scripture did not determine what "dogma" was considered canon, but "dogma" determined what scripture was "canon". This particular work also describes the "Watchers", who are supposedly "fallen angels" who were the progenitors of a race of beings called the "Nephilim". The "Watchers" ask Prophet Enoch to intercede for them, since *YAH* has subjected them to their doom. After this, the book talks about Enoch's revelations, in regards to Heaven and Hell, as well as visions and revelations from Ha Ahlayawan/Ha Alyawn (The Most High)... Later on, Enoch describes just *why* "old mankind" (during Noah's time) had to fall: 1. Fallen Angels taught "old mankind" knowledge that man was *not* supposed to know, in the eyes of The Most High...When we read about ancient cultures and look at artifacts, archaeology, carvings, and paintings, we find out that our forefathers knew things that we certainly did not know. Also, because fallen angels taught them "higher knowledge", this would explain why there was a sudden *surge* of knowledge back in that time, with no slow progression of learning, which is the "normal" way of learning things with a *steady* progression... 2. Some of the angels plotted to *mix* their seed with human women and get them pregnant, under an evil oath amongst one another. You do not have to believe any of this, but we do know that ancient cultures seem to have had *a lot* of contact with "alien entities"... 3. After the fallen angels and human women had sex, they produced offspring that were considered the "Giants" (NEPHILIM) back then...Archaeological and historical records *testify* to the FACT that these *giants* certainly existed, at one point in time... 4. As a result of half-demon/half-human children, mankind became extremely *wicked*, and if *YAH* didn't destroy the "Old Earth", mankind's blood would be hopelessly *contaminated* with the genes of demons/devils! 5. The angels who devised this plot were later *imprisoned* by The Most High, but the *spirits* of their offspring (The Nephilim) they created are *still* here on this Earth, roaming around and torturing/possessing whom they will... Enoch is later *commissioned* by *YAH* to be a kind-of "warden/gatekeeper" over the Fallen Angels, and this is *why* he has direct knowledge of just what went on around Noah's time. So, from all of that information, we can infer that the *Flood* was primarily caused by the actions of FALLEN ANGELS, and the result of their demonic offspring with human women, which would contaminate the blood of probably all human beings if this Earth was not destroyed by water. These false churches teach that it was mankind that was a result of The Flood, but from the texts of Enoch and the Bible, we see that it was *primarily* because of Fallen Angels and their offspring. If you want to check-out/read the *Book of Enoch*, go here: B.M.I.T.B.T.A.N.I.T.B – Page 8 http://www.docstoc.com/docs/7277020/The-Book-of-Enoch The Book of Gad the Seer ((1 Chronicles 29:29-30) 1 Chronicles 29:29-30 - 29Now the acts of David the king, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of Samuel the seer, and in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the book of Gad the seer, 30With all his reign and his might, and the times that went over him, and over Israel, and over all the kingdoms of the countries. The Book of Gad the Seer is another "lost" book that was written by Prophet Gad, not to be mistaken with a progenitor of the 12 Tribes of Israel. This text is also called "Gad the Seer" or "The Acts of Gad the Seer"... Lost "Pauline" Epistle to Corinth (1 Corinthians 5:9) 1 Corinthians 5:9 - I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: There's not really too much information on this potentially "lost epistle", so who knows... We do know that the epistle is another letter from Paul/Saul of Tarsus to the Hebrews living in Corinth, Greece. Lost "Pauline" Epistle to the Ephesians (Ephesians 3:3-4) Ephesians 3:3-4 - 3How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, 4Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) This was supposed to be an early epistle to the Hebrews that lived in Ephesus, but once again there's not much information to be found on this... Lost "Pauline" Epistle from Laodicea to the Colossians (Colossians 4:16) Colossians 4:16 - And when this epistle is read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that ye likewise read the epistle from Laodicea. This is potentially another "lost epistle" that was apparently written by Apostle Paul, to the Laodicean Hebrews in Asia Minor. From what we know, the oldest known copy of this letter is in a manuscript written for Victor of Capua, called the "Fulda Manuscript". From 4th Century-A.D. onwards, it appeared quite B.M.I.T.B.T.A.N.I.T.B – Page 9 frequently in English Bibles, and it was more common to see this particular epistle in an English bible than in others. Controversially, there is no evidence of there ever being a "Greek text". Also, this text is in over 100+ manuscripts of the Latin Vulgate, including the most ancient Vulgate, which is the celebrated *Codex Fuldensis*, written in 546 CE. There are also Albigensian, Bohemian, and Flemish versions of this text. There was also a 10 Century monk named Aelfric who wrote a treatise on the Bible (Old+New Testaments), and even he said that there was really *15* epistles from Apostle Paul, instead of the common "14" which is what "Christianity" teaches is. Around 1165 CE, John of Salisbury wrote about the canon of the Bible to Count Henry of Champage, acknowledging: "'it is the common, indeed almost universal, opinion that there are only 14 Epistles of Paul ... But the 15th is that which is written to the church of the Laodiceans". Also, the "Epistle to the Laodiceans" is included in *all* 18 GERMAN Bibles that were printed before "Luther's" translation, beginning with the very 1st German Bible that was issued by Johann Mental in 1488. This "lost epistle" was supposed to follow right after the Gospels, with this epistle being right between the Book of Galatians and Ephesians. In the very 1st Czech (Bohemian) Bible that was published in 1488 (and reprinted many times), this "lost epistle" appears after Colossians but comes before 1st Thessalonians... This "lost epistle" was greatly valued by learned scholars of the Church of Rome, as well as the English Quakers, who even printed a translation of this epistle as well as pleading for the epistle to be considered "canon". Unfortunately, since the "scholars" say that there is no Greek text around for this epistle, they conclude that this epistle is not "lost", but indeed a forgery... There are 2 manuscripts of this epistle: [1] the one found at Sorbonne Library in Paris, which is an archaic copy and [2] the one found at the Library of Joannes a Viridario (at Padmus), which Sixtus Senensis translated and published. You can find a translation of this epistle in the British Museum (among the Harleian MSS., Cod. 1212). If you want to read the “lost epistle” of Colossians 4:16, go here: http://reluctant-messenger.com/epistle-laodiceans.htm Missing Nazarene Prophecy Source (Matthew 2:23) Matthew 2:23 - And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene. B.M.I.T.B.T.A.N.I.T.B – Page 10 Before this scripture, "Jesus Christ" gave us *4* Old Testament prophecies that show us that he would come unto *Israel*: 1. Isaiah 7:14 - He Would be called "Immanuel" (God is With Us). 2. Micah 5:2 - That he would be born in Bethlehem. 3. Hosea 11:1 - He would come out from among Egypt. 4. Jeremiah 31:15 - King Herod would slaughter the children of Bethlehem. However, for this *5th* prophecy that I previously showed you, there is *no* scripture in the "canon" Old Testament that says that he would be a Nazarene. In fact, there is not *one* mention of a "Nazareth" anywhere in the "canonized" Old Testament. Who knows Zion, Matthew could have been reading from the *complete* "Old Testament", including all of the books that are "missing" (taken out) from the Tanakh... Scholars who have studied various scrolls state that an unknown line of text, found in the "Qumran" (not "Quran") version of *1 Samuel* (4QSama), could be the missing link to what "Christ" was saying! At the end of 1 Samuel 1:22 (KJV), where Samuel's mother, Hannah, makes a vow to take Prophet Samuel to the Temple of Shiloh, this is what it states: "But Hannah went not up; for she said unto her husband, I will not go up until the child be weaned, and then I will bring him, that he may appear before *YAH*, and there abide for ever". In the *Qumran* version, there's a final clause that doesn't appear in the regular Bible that we are use to, and this is what it is: "and I will make him a NAZIR forever"... Who knows Zion, the above "fragment" just *might* be the missing link to what Ha Mashayach (The Messiah) was saying in Matthew 2:23! We do know that the story in 1 Samuel 1 was about a prophet chosen by *YAH* to anoint King David, who was an ancestor of Christ. Also, that word "Nazir" is most likely a *mis-translation* of the word "Nazarene", and if so, that would also lend *credibility* to the Qumran source...But then again, in Matthew 2:23, "Christ" could've been quoting Isaiah 11:1-16, which makes a mention of how the coming messiah would be referred to as a "branch" (nezir). While the above quote from the Qumran is the *only* biblical manuscript to contain that particular passage, even the Hebrew historian, *FLAVIUS JOSEPHUS*, included the "Qumran" quote in one of his works called, "The Antiquities of the Jews", explaining that he also knew about that particular quote in 1 Samuel 1. Since the editors of the NRSV ("New Revised Standard Version) of the Bible are *convinced* of that Qumran quote, they have inserted that particular line into the text of 1 Samuel 1, with a brief *footnote* giving credit to the Qumran. B.M.I.T.B.T.A.N.I.T.B – Page 11 Zion, be sure to checkout, "The Qumran Biblical Scrolls: The Scriptures of Late Second Temple Judaism", by Eugene C. Ulrich. Last but not least, this is what the following scholars had to say about Matthew 2:23: M. Eugene Boring: “This formula of quotation ("He will be called a Nazorean.") is not found in the Old Testament, either in the Masoretic Text nor the Septuagint. Matthew may have been thinking of Isaiah 11:116, where the promised messiah is referred to as a 'branch' (*nezir*), or confusing the religious order of Nazirites with the appellation of Jesus as "holy one of God". (Page 147 of the New Interpreter's Bible)" He also states: “The fact that Jesus came from Nazareth generated a "prediction" in 2:23" (Page 154). John Fenton: "The source of this prophecy is not known" (Page 51 of the Penguin commentary). He later goes on to say that Isaiah 11:1 is a *possibility*... David Hill: "He will be called a Nazorean."Refers to the sect of the Nazirites, or a pun on the word for 'branch' in Isaiah11:1" (New Century Bible Commentary on Matthew). Herman Hendrickx, in his useful little book "Infancy Narratives", writes that Matthew definitely understood *Nazoraios* as an adjective referring to the town of Nazareth, and no such reference or prophecy appears anywhere in canonical scripture or surviving “apocryphal” literature. One last thing Zion, there has been *evidence* from archaeologists' to support that the "Essenes" might have written the *Dead Sea Scrolls* somewhere in a Qumran settlement. If that is *true*, that would definitely lend credibility to the quote in the Qumran about the "nazir"...! Acts of Uzziah (2 Chronicles 26:22) 2 Chronicles 26:22 - Now the rest of the acts of Uzziah, first and last, did Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, write. There's not much information on this book Zion, other than the potential for it to have been written by Prophet Isaiah, who was a contemporary of King Uzziah. This "lost book" is sometimes called "2nd Isaiah"... Book of the Annals of King David (1 Chronicles 27:24) B.M.I.T.B.T.A.N.I.T.B – Page 12 1 Chronicles 27:24 - Joab the son of Zeruiah began to number, but he finished not, because there fell wrath for it against Israel; neither was the number put in the account of the chronicles of king David. This text may have been written by Prophet Nathan, who was a contemporary of King David. This book is alternatively known as "The Chronicles of King David". Missing Epistle of the Book of Jude (Jude 3) Jude 3 - Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. There's not much that can be found about this epistle, unfortunately... Acts of the Kings of Israel (2 Chronicles 33:18) 2 Chronicles 33:18 - Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and his prayer unto his God, and the words of the seers that spake to him in the name of the LORD God of Israel, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel. This book *could* be the Book of 1 & 2 Kings, or it could be a text within itself. It is sometimes even called "The Acts and Prayers of Manasseh"... The Book of the Chronicles of Solomon (1 Kings 11:41) 1 Kings 11:41 - And the rest of the acts of Solomon, and all that he did, and his wisdom, are they not written in the book of the acts of Solomon? Apparently, this book must've had a long chronology of the deeds, acts, wisdom, and history of King Solomon... The Book of the Kings of Israel (1 Chronicles 9:1-2 -> 2 Chronicles 20:34) 1 Chronicles 9:1-2 - 1So all Israel were reckoned by genealogies; and, behold, they were written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah, who were carried away to Babylon for their transgression. 2Now the first inhabitants that dwelt in their possessions in their cities were, the Israelites, the priests, Levites, and the Nethinims. 2 Chronicles 20:34 - Now the rest of the acts of Jehoshaphat, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of Jehu the son of Hanani, who is mentioned in the book of the kings of Israel. B.M.I.T.B.T.A.N.I.T.B – Page 13 Once again, we don't know for sure if this is a *separate* work from the Books of 1 & 2 Kings, or if those books are what the previous scriptures are referencing to... The Book of the Kings of Judah & Israel (2 Chronicles 16:11 -> 2 Chronicles 27:7 -> 2 Chronicles 32:32) 2 Chronicles 16:11 - And, behold, the acts of Asa, first and last, lo, they are written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel. 2 Chronicles 27:7 - Now the rest of the acts of Jotham, and all his wars, and his ways, lo, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah. 2 Chronicles 32:32 - Now the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and his goodness, behold, they are written in the vision of Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, and in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel. The Book of the Kings of Judah & Israel is another "lost" book of the Old Testament, which cannot be seemingly found. However, this could be the *same* books as 1 & 2 Kings, so who knows... The Chronicles of the Kings of Israel (1 Kings 14:19 -> 2 Kings 1:18) 1 Kings 14:19 - And the rest of the acts of Jeroboam, how he warred, and how he reigned, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel. 2 Kings 1:18 - Now the rest of the acts of Ahaziah which he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel? Once again, this is another book that hasn't been found, that was somehow "lost" from the other Old Testament books. This manuscript is often called "The Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel" and "The Book of the Annals of the Kings of Israel". The Chronicles of the Kings of Judah (1 Kings 14:29-30) 1 Kings 14:29-30 - 29Now the rest of the acts of Rehoboam, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? 30And there was war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam all their days. This is another Bible manuscript that is *nowhere* to be found in the Old Testament. This text is also called "The Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah" and "The Book of the Annals of the Kings of Judah". The History of Nathan the Prophet (2 Chronicles 9:29) B.M.I.T.B.T.A.N.I.T.B – Page 14 2 Chronicles 9:29 - Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, first and last, are they not written in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite, and in the visions of Iddo the seer against Jeroboam the son of Nebat? This is another "lost text" of the scriptures, which was most likely written of Nathan the Prophet, who apparently was the author of other "lost texts". Then again, it *could* just be the "Book of Nathan the Prophet", but with a slightly different title... Laments for Josiah (2 Chronicles 35:25 -> 1 Esdras 1:32-33) 2 Chronicles 35:25 - And Jeremiah lamented for Josiah: and all the singing men and the singing women spake of Josiah in their lamentations to this day, and made them an ordinance in Israel: and, behold, they are written in the lamentations. 1 Esdras 1:32-33 - 32 And in all Jewry they mourned for Josias, yea, Jeremy the prophet lamented for Josias, and the chief men with the women made lamentation for him unto this day: and this was given out for an ordinance to be done continually in all the nation of Israel. 33 These things are written in the book of the stories of the kings of Judah, and every one of the acts that Josias did, and his glory, and his understanding in the law of the Lord, and the things that he had done before, and the things now recited, are reported in the book of the kings of Israel and Judea. From the little information that we have, we shouldn't get this scripture confused with the "Book of Lamentations". The Story of the Book of the Kings (2 Chronicles 24:27) 2 Chronicles 24:27 - Now concerning his sons, and the greatness of the burdens laid upon him, and the repairing of the house of God, behold, they are written in the story of the book of the kings. And Amaziah his son reigned in his stead. Unfortunately, this book can also not be found. However, it could possibly be 1 & 2 Kings, even though there is no *sufficient* evidence to prove that it is, for sure... BTW, this book is also called the "Midrash on the Book of Kings"! The Vision of Isaiah the Prophet (2 Chronicles 32:32) 2 Chronicles 32:32 - Now the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and his goodness, behold, they are written in the vision of Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, and in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel. B.M.I.T.B.T.A.N.I.T.B – Page 15 This work could *potentially* be found in “Volume 2” of the *Pseudepigrapha*, under the work called, “The Martyrdom of Isaiah”, which is just a constituent to a larger work called “The Ascension of Isaiah”. The Ascension of Isaiah consists of *3* elements, and they are titled: *The Martyrdom of Isaiah*, *The Vision of Isaiah*, and *The Testament of Hezekiah*. The Chronicles of the King of Media & Persia (Esther 2:23 -> Esther 6:1 -> Esther 10:2) Esther 2:23 - And when inquisition was made of the matter, it was found out; therefore they were both hanged on a tree: and it was written in the book of the chronicles before the king. Esther 6:1 - On that night could not the king sleep, and he commanded to bring the book of records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king. Esther 10:2 - And all the acts of his power and of his might, and the declaration of the greatness of Mordecai, whereunto the king advanced him, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Media and Persia? I don't know if we should consider this a "lost text" of the Bible, as the scriptures state that the records belonged to the Persian Empire of that time...If anything, this would be a lost *secular* record, and *not* a Biblical record or manuscript(s). Conclusion: Conclusion: Tzayawn (Zion), as you can see, there are *several* books that are mentioned *in* the Bible, that are *nowhere* to be found in the scriptures, and we haven't even touched on the Apocrypha or the Pseudepigrapha...The Apocrypha and/or Pseudepigrapha are *separate* topics in-and-of themselves! Most certainly, we can see that *our* Bible has certainly been raped, robbed, pillage, and purposely *mis-translated* to keep the TRUE *Hebrews* deceived, and that's why this video was made, to *enlighten* my fellow brother's and sister's amongst Yasharahl who are searching for the *truth*. Hopefully, this series *inspires* you all to do MORE *independent* research, so that you can bring home the knowledge to Israel... With that said, here are some *additional* resources that you should check-out, Tzayawn: Additional *Sources* to Check-Out: http://www.thelostbooks.com/index.htm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Lost_Jewish_texts http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-canonical_books_referenced_in_the_Bible B.M.I.T.B.T.A.N.I.T.B – Page 16 http://www.apologeticspress.org/articles/42 http://www.spiritrestoration.org/Church/Research%20History%20and%20Great %20Links/Other_books_mentioned_in_the_Bible.htm http://www.libertygospeltracts.com/question/prequest/Nathngad.htm http://shoko.lnx.biu.ac.il/~barilm/gadiscov.html http://www.religiousresearcher.org/blog/?p=345 http://www.carm.org/christianity/bible/other-books-mentioned-bible http://www.freewebs.com/cultural_freedom/truthspeakernews.htm http://lists.ibiblio.org/pipermail/b-hebrew/2004-May/018627.html
