REGISTRATION FORM The most cost-effective implementation of supplier credit card authorizations for a travel agency managing transactional card processing rules and personnel according to the ever changing card environment with the local card acquiring banks. Implemented as a framework for the TravelBuy range of products, agency owners and managers have real-time access to the reconciliation of credit card transactions in the currency of sale. In order to use the TravelBuy 2D system you will need to register as a subscriber. Subscribers to our unique product will be provided with features, benefits and functionality not available in other TravelBuy products. Setting up an Agency to use Travelbuy 2D For the agency to process POS (Point-of-Sale) transactions is must have established a “parent” Merchant account with one of the big four banks in South Africa and “child” Merchant accounts with Dinersclub and American Express. This is shown in the upper portion of the picture. Pos transactions are verified by the banks by using POS Merchant account numbers and POS Terminal ID’s To process payment settlements using the Travelbuy web page, similar security procedures need to be set up by obtaining a Travelbuy Merchant account and a Travelbuy Terminal ID. By following the steps set out below, you can become Travelbuy active: 1. Download the Travelbuy 2D registration document from our GalileoSA web site 2. Make contact with your 1-of-Big-4 banks that you have a merchant account with using the banking Travelbuy contacts set up for you on the last page of the downloaded document. They should assist you to obtain a Travelbuy merchant account number and Travelbuy terminal ID. 3. Make contact with the Dinersclub Travelbuy contact and arrange for them to update your current merchant account details with a second terminal ID viz. the Travelbuy terminal ID. This will allow you to process Diners payments using the Travelbuy system. REGISTRATION FORM 4. Make contact with the Amex Travelbuy contact and arrange for them to update your current merchant account details with a second terminal ID viz. the Travelbuy terminal ID. This will allow you to process Amex payments using the Travelbuy system. 5. Please fill in the details required in the attached Registration form and forward them to your Galileo Account Manager together with the Acceptance of Galileo Quote. 6. Galileo will now check the contents of the documentation and ensure that your details are updated in the Travelbuy web application. Your use of the system will be activated. We will conduct basic connectivity testing to ensure fundamental correctness of communication. 7. Once this is completed, each consultant will receive a Travelbuy Username and Password and Travelbuy transactions may now be processed at the agency. This will be done by e-mail. 8. We recommend that test transactions be entered into the system for each of the credit card types to ensure that all connectivity alternatives are functioning correctly. If you require training on the system, please contact your Galileo account manager. Our normal customer support staff are trained and ready to assist if you require inter-active help. They can be reached at our normal support number. We have set up a series of call escalations to specialists in all aspects of connectivity that could go wrong. Because we are sometimes dependant on responses from the banks to resolve problems, our call turn-around time may be below our high Galileo standards. Monitoring Registration Progress Once we have received your registration form you will be contacted every second day to provide you with feed-back on progress and the expected time of activation. Summary You will appreciate that this procedure requires strict control to avoid misuse and we encourage you to be patient while this “once-off” procedure is completed successfully. Our estimate is that this Travelbuy setting up could take between 3 days and 3 weeks depending on how soon you are able to provide us with the essential banking information needed to complete the Travelbuy registration. Unfortunately due to financial process requirements, all details are mandatory and departure from the process could lead to delayed registration.
