WILDLIFE MANAGER, REGIONAL CLASS PURPOSE To develop and implement a regional wildlife management program; manage a professional staff in the collection and analysis of biological data on wildlife species; perform related work. GENERAL INFORMATION Incumbents are required to fly in fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters. These positions involve walking and backpacking for several hours, operating trail bikes, and riding horses in rugged terrain; lifting and carrying up to 65 pounds; working in extreme weather conditions.
