Essential Functions: 1. The analyst prepares provisioning technical documentation of all levels and types in accordance with military and commercial specifications and standards. This requires analysis, interpretation, and implementation of specific provisioning requirements on a job-to-job basis with minimum supervision. Based upon task authorizations from the technical publications manager, the analyst organizes and prepares specified provisioning documentation including compilation/analysis of source material. Responsibilities include coordinating the development, editing, composition, production, and delivery of assigned provisioning documentation in accordance with applicable specifications/standards and other requirements, as well as coordinating required ancillary services and interdepartmental activities. The analyst maintains cost/schedule status information for each assigned project and assesses project status and availability of source material on multiple projects to ensure optimum productivity. Records must be maintained to back up all cost estimates prepared, ensuring traceability on all projects, and providing historical data on changes to support change of scope requests impacting the schedule/cost. The analyst serves as a focal point for problem resolution and inquiries related to assigned projects and coordinates the quality control activities required to ensure the accuracy and adequacy of each document.
