  New pool for
  Cambridge
      Waipa District Council
  signed off the final Cambridge
  Community Pool design this
week, with a budget of up to
  $14 million.
      Council confirmed it will
  pledge $6.5m to the project,
  with expected community
  fundraising of at least $4.5m.
      The final design reflects the
  Council resolution for four key
water spaces, to replace the in-
  ground pool, and create an
  indoor facility to meet
  community needs.
      Professional fundraisers
  have been contracted and
  community fundraising is due
to kick off in the New Year.
  Council will review the
  fundraising efforts in April and
  determine whether there is
  sufficient support to go through
  a tender process.
