Thanks to General Motors, we have obtained the bricks to use as a fundraiser for the building addition. The preserved bricks have been cleaned, and these historic pieces of the 1953 Corvette’s heritage are now available for Corvette enthusiasts to own. These unique bricks are offered with an engraved sequence numbered plate and certificate of authenticity. Museum members can order one of these historic bricks for $100 and can even select a special numbered brick up to five (5) digits. Non-members may order a special numbered brick for $150 and will also receive a one-year complimentary individual membership to the NCM. For non- members, the Museum can also randomly select a number for you to be engraved on your brick. The donation amount for this brick is $100, and the special "free" Individual Membership offer does not apply to this purchase. Bricks may also be ordered with an additional personalized plate for a friend or family member to commemorate a special occasion such as “Happy Birthday 2006” or Happy Anniversary 2006” for no additional cost. Corvette Clubs members can even purchase a historic Flint brick and recognize their club affiliation with a plate showcasing their Corvette Club name, or you can commemorate your attendance at any of our 2006 events with a plate to mark the occasion. These historic bricks make a wonderful gift to a family member or friend and can be personalized in many ways to recognize the Corvette enthusiast in your life. These special plates are limited to a maximum of five lines - 20 characters per line. Special brick numbers are available on a first come, first serve basis, and requests will be filled in the order they are received. Requested numbers can be submitted up to 5 digits (up to 45000). The personalized plate will be added to your order upon request. Please note this special personalization information when completing your order. All donations for the Flint bricks are tax deductible as allowed by law. Order both your special numbered and NCM assigned numbered Flint bricks by contacting Connie Russell at 1-800-53- VETTE or on our website at www.corvettemuseum.com. 6 N A T I O N A L C O R V E T T E M U S E U M Flint Brick Wall Members $250 Non-Members $300 Add your name permanently to a special display in the St. Louis Assembly Plant area of the Museum! You can have your name, business or Corvette Club name engraved on a signature plate and attached as a permanent fixture incorporated into the Flint brick wall of the St. Louis Corvette Assembly Plant display of the Museum. This permanent display is limited to only 620 usable bricks and each brick space reserved in the display area wall will be recognized with certificate of authenticity. NCM Members can reserve their space on the Flint brick wall by donating $250 / $300 for non- members. The Flint brick wall display is incorporated into a very significant area of the Museum and will be a lasting way to recognize our fundraising supporters. A similar wall display may be added to the Museum’s new addition at a later date. The brick plates will be arranged on the wall from the center out, and are available on a first come- first serve basis. Proceeds from the Flint brick display wall will benefit the Museum’s Building Campaign. The historic flint bricks used in this display are bricks from the GM Assembly Plant where the 300 1953 Corvettes were made in Flint, Michigan. This building was razed in 2003, and General Motors has allowed us the opportunity to use them as a fundraiser for the building addition. Reserve your spot while space is available. Approximately thirty enthusiasts take delivery of their new Corvette each week … Join Team NCM members as we conduct an adventure second to none! How It All Starts: NCM Delivery is referred to as OPTION "R8C" and is available through any Chevrolet Dealer at a minimal cost of $490. It must be specified at the time the order is finalized and a special Ship Code of "184590" must also be used to identify your Corvette for Museum Delivery. The Communications: After a TARGET PRODUCTION WEEK has been established, the National Corvette Museum will contact the selling dealer and/or the customer and offer a reasonable timeframe in which the customer can choose a date for delivery. This contact will normally occur approximately two weeks prior to the TARGET PRODUCTION WEEK allowing ample time for the customer to make travel arrangements. The Museum will confirm the date, agreed upon by customer, in writing and will handle all further communications. If at any time the selling dealer and/or customer should have any questions regarding the delivery, they may contact the Museum at 1-800-205-4248. The Paperwork: Customers must arrive at the NCM with the following items before a delivery can take place: • A License Plate or Temporary Tag • Proof of Ownership (Bill of sale, etc.) • Proof of Insurance • Valid Operator's License The Delivery: The customer arrives at the NCM and is welcomed with signs commemorating the event. They are taken to the Corvette Assembly Plant (located across the street from the NCM) for their own NCM Delivery Team guided VIP tour (when plant tours are available). A personal, special VIP guided tour of the NCM is conducted where they will see their Corvette on display. Next, a member of the NCM Delivery Team provides a quality orientation followed by a thorough delivery presentation of their new vehicle. A unique gold decal is placed on the inside of the drivers door jamb to signify the importance of this memorable occasion. The customer is presented with an individual one year NCM membership. Post Delivery: A laser engraved wooden plaque (with the customer's name, date of delivery and VIN) is given to the participant the day of delivery. The brass plate will then be shipped directly to the customer. Exclusive NCM Delivery merchandise may also be ordered by participants. Gary Cockriel manages this one of a kind program for the NCM. He will be happy to assist you with any questions or concerns using the special NCM Delivery Hotline of 1-800-205-4248 ext 124 or Lori at ext. 151. 11 N A T I O N A L C O R V E T T E M U S E U M NCM Xperience Delivery Program Corvette owners now have the opportunity to participate in the "NCM Xperience" - a new program that offers owners a unique experience with their Corvette at the National Corvette Museum. Guests are given a VIP plant tour and Museum tour as part of the program, and are also given a one-year individual membership to the Museum, commemorative plaque, silver decal recognizing participation in the program, and an individual photograph in front of the Museum - weather permitting. "With the success of our R8C Delivery Program, which offers new Corvette buyers the opportunity to take delivery of new Corvettes at the Museum, we truly feel a program like this will offer Corvette owners an opportunity to share in the excitement of it all." Whether you want to present your spouse with a Corvette as a gift, or pass your Corvette down to your child, the "NCM Xperience" creates an opportunity to celebrate that special occasion. Additional information on the "NCM Xperience" is available by calling Gary Cockriel at (800) 53- VETTE or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or Lori at email@example.com or Karen at Karen@corvettemuseum.com . Corvette Buyers Tour We are excited to be able to offer the Corvette Buyer’s Plant Tour in conjunction with the Bowling Green Corvette Assembly Plant! This program is offered to provide new Corvette buyers with a VIP Tour of the Assembly Plant. See and experience the assembly of America’s Sports Car with your very own personal tour guide. You and up to 3 guests can enjoy a private VIP tour of the Plant to see many areas not included on the general Plant tour. Your tour guide will provide information at the paint areas, body start area, installation of seats, doors, trunk deck, steering wheel, airbags, engine, etc. in addition to the general tour stops such as the marriage point, first start, end of line, and dyno and water testing. We will make every effort to schedule your tour on the day that your car is being built. However, we cannot guarantee that you will see your car at any point in the production process due to unforeseen events that may increase or decrease production time and scheduling. 12 N A T I O N A L C O R V E T T E M U S E U M Cost: The cost of the Corvette Buyer’s Plant Tour experience is $350 and is payable on-line. You must have an order number from your dealer before you can sign up for this tour. What to Expect: After you have registered and paid the $350 fee, the NCM will monitor your car’s order number status. Approximately 8-14 days prior to your car’s build date, you will be contacted by a representative of the Museum to provide you with the estimated build date. At this time you can make travel arrangements. It is recommended that you purchase refundable airline tickets if you intend to fly, as the scheduled date may change due to unforeseen events that may increase or decrease production line rates. Day of the Tour: You will be scheduled for a tour date and time. Please note that the plant operates from 6:12a.m. c.s.t. to 2:42p.m. c.s.t.. You may need to arrive the day prior to your tour if you are scheduled for an early morning tour. The VIP tour will last from 3-5 hours. You will not be following your car during the entire tour, as you will be taken to other areas of the Plant to see the assembly process that all vehicles go through. The NCM representative will contact you if there are any changes to your scheduled date or time. It is very important that we are provided with a cell phone number in order to reach you on short notice or after your arrival to Bowling Green. No Guarantee: It is the desire of the Museum and the Assembly Plant that your tour experience enables you to see your new Corvette during your visit, but we cannot guarantee this as part of the program. The National Corvette Museum and the Bowling Green Assembly Plant will not be responsible for any costs you incur for this tour whether you see your car or not. You will not be entitled to a refund if you do not see your car, but we do promise that you will receive a memorable tour of the Corvette Assembly Plant. In the event that several other tours are scheduled on the date that your car is to be built, your VIP Tour may be scheduled for a date before or after the date your car is built. Again, you may not see your car, but you will receive a VIP Tour of the Plant. Guidelines for plant visits: Please refer to the section of rules and guidelines for plant tours. Guests: You may bring up to 3 additional guests at no charge. A maximum of 4 people may go on the Corvette Buyer’s Tour. R8C Museum Delivery Program: The Corvette Buyer’s Tour Program is NOT part of the R8C Museum Delivery Program. Museum Delivery Option R8C is totally separate and ordered through your Corvette Dealer at the time the order for your new Corvette is placed. If you purchased Museum Delivery Option R8C, you may also participate in the Corvette Buyers Tour by signing up online. The additional fee required to participate in the Buyers Tour is $350 – this fee is in addition to the Museum Delivery Program fee. Please note that to participate in both programs will require two different trips to Bowling Green.
