Strive & Sustain
At Strive we are committed to embracing sustainability
as an integral component of our standard business
practice. By taking a leadership role in developing
business practices in a more sustainable manner
we hope to raise the bar and set an industry
and community standard.

This will be accomplished first and foremost
with everyone’s involvement – including you.
It is imperative that we continually assess,
evaluate, and improve upon processes,
materials, and operational concepts to
provide unique value opportunities that
support and nurture our sustainable
business model goal.

Strive’s Sustainability Platform encompasses Economic, Social, Environmental, and Governance elements.
These elements are color coded within our new logo for ease of communication when speaking about their
 individual sub-elements.

There is much to learn and many opportunities for you to become involved and
directly contribute to our development as an industry leader in sustainable practices.
One objective of Team Tomorrow, the Strive Corporate Sustainability Team, is to
establish location-specific programs that will enhance our awareness of what it
truly means to be sustainable as a company.

Strive Steps Up to Stand Down for Safety

At 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday October 5, 2010, The Strive Group
took a bold step and shut down its operations within all of
its various business units for a second time. Why would any
company make a conscious decision to turn off its machinery,
shut down its conveyor lines, park the forklifts, stop production
  and gather all employees together?

What occurred was a suspension of operations, or a Safety Stand Down, to discuss the
most critical and important aspect of each of our jobs – working safely by eliminating
At-Risk Behaviors. Most incidents occur due to people not realizing that some behaviors
are dangerous to themselves and others. The Strive vision focuses on identifying At-Risk Chris Coffman, The Strive Group’s
Behaviors as they may occur and preventing them from happening in the future. Each Director of Safety, addresses employees

business unit participated and the encouraging message of personal accountability
and positive choices regarding workplace behaviors was communicated to all Strive
  Group employees

According to The Strive Group’s Director of Safety, Chris Coffman, “The Safety
Stand Down is never a celebration of individual or group successes, achievements
or milestones, but rather a sober reflection and rededication of Strive’s commitment
to workplace safety. It is a mutual understanding that the vast majority of workplace
incidents can be avoided and that each of our personal behaviors has an immediate
and long-term impact on our ability to stay safe and healthy.”

We can all look forward to more Safety Stand Downs in the future, as they are now a
  regular part of Strive operations.

The Strive Group Celebrates a Great Cause and a Magnificent Evening
The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) brought together over 1,200 supporters, including many patients and their loved
ones, as well as celebrity guests at its 14th annual Fall Gala on Saturday, October 30, in Greenwich, Connecticut.

For the second year in a row, The Strive Group was there in full force as guests of our valued client, PepsiCo, one of the three Gala
Corporate Sponsors. The premier benefit raised more than $1.9 million to support the MMRF’s efforts to develop next-generation treatments
for patients with multiple myeloma, a rare and incurable blood cancer. A very special highlight of the event were musical performances by
Jazz pianist and vocalist Diana Krall and 12-time Grammy Award winner Paul Simon.

“The MMRF is a truly outstanding organization that has shown real results for
patients living with multiple myeloma and this was a magical evening that will
not soon be forgotten,” commented Amy Jacobshagen, Executive Assistant,
       The Strive Group.
