   Tool                          Function                                                     Application (s)
   Blog                          A blog is a website where entries are commonly     
                             displayed in reverse chronological order. Blogs are often
                             used to provide commentary or news on a particular     
                             subject, as an online diary, or as a place to share
   Wiki                          A wiki is software that allows users to easily create,
                             edit, and link pages together and are often used to create
                             collaborative community websites.                      

   Video Sharing Site            Video sharing sites are for users to upload, view and
                             share video clips and often include a range of         
                             customization features as well as video content.
   Podcast/ Vodcast              A podcast is a collection of digital media files which can
                             be used for playback on portable media players and
                             personal computers. Video podcasts provide online
                             delivery of video on demand video clip content.
    Online Document              Online Document Programs Web-based provide online  
Creation Tools               spaces where users can work and share collaboratively on
                             word processor, spreadsheet, and presentation
                             applications/ documents.
   Social Networks               A social network service uses software to build online
                             social networks for communities of people who share    
                             interests and activities.

    Social Bookmarking               Social bookmarking is a method for Internet users to      
                                 store, organize, search, and manage bookmarks of web          
                                 pages on the Internet and exchange this information
                                 through a virtual weblink.
   Live Blogging                     Live Notetaking offers a webspace where uses can

     Virtual Worlds                  Second Life (abbreviated as SL) is an Internet-based      
                                 virtual world launched in 2003, developed by Linden
