Verizon Wireless SWOT Analysis Introduction Verizon Wireless is a “joint venture of Verizon Communications (NYSE:VZ) and Vodafone (NYSE and LSE: VOD)” (Investors, 2008) and one of the largest telecommunications providers in the world. This paper provides a SWOT analysis of the company. Discussion SWOT analyses are subjective by their nature, since they are basically best guesses about future accomplishments and opportunities based on past performance, which is not always a good predictor. Conditions change so quickly that some experts advise redoing a SWOT every 6-12 months.
