For operational convenience, people use the touch screen to replace the mouse or keyboard work, we must first use your fingers or other objects touch installed in front of the monitor touch screen, then the system according to the finger touching the icon or menu location to locate selected information into the touch screen by the touch detection component parts and touch screen controller; touch detection unit installed in the front of the monitor screen for detecting user touch position, touch screen controller to accept evacuation; and touch screen controller's main role is from the touch point touch detection device to receive information, and transform it into contact coordinates, and then sent to CPU, it also can receive commands sent to the CPU and run it.
TOUCH SCREEN STYLE ROOM System Startup 1. Unlock equipment cabinets to expose the equipment racks. 2. Touch the screen anywhere to begin. This will awaken the system and show the Welcome Screen. 3. Touch the screen again to turn the AV Rack system power on and display the Main Menu (see figure1). Fig 1 Main Menu Fig 2 Sample Control Panel 4. Select Source: Selection Buttons along the left portion of the viewable window, select source such as the Document Camera, VCR and Cable TV Tuner. Pressing the icon will open that equipment’s control panel (see figure 2). 5. Send Source to projector and/or monitor(s): Press “Send to Proj” or “Send to Monitors” NOTE: Audio follows last source sent to the projector/monitors. The Main Menu of the Fixed Touch Screen shows the icons for controlling the room located around the outer edge (left, right, and bottom portions) and consist of: System Power, Projector, Screen&Lighting, Mic Volume, Program Volume, and Source Selection Buttons. The Preview Pane displays whatever source has been selected. It must be sent to the projector for classroom to view it. To make this view full screen, press the Preview Pane. To revert back to the Preview Pane, press anywhere on the screen System Shutdown 1. Press the “Turn System Off” button on the lower-left. 2. A shutdown confirmation screen will appear. (See Figure at right) Select YES to shut the system down (if NO, press NO and re-select your previous source). 3. Lock all cabinets.
