DRESS CODE FOR GIRLS:
   • Maroon plaid skirts – see Southwest Uniform or campus principal; skorts and jumpers are permissible
      for Lower School (grades PreK-4) students
   • White or maroon knee socks
   • White cotton undershirt
   • Black dress shoes with heels no more than one-inch high
   • White blouse with round collar -OR- white oxford dress shirt with button down collar; Note: shirt tail
      must be long enough to remain tucked in when sitting or bending over.
   • Maroon plaid criss-cross or 4-in-hand tie
   • Spandex-type bike shorts must be worn under skirts
   • Jewelry (optional)
          o 1 pair pierced earrings (stud type)
          o 1 ring per hand
          o 1 watch
          o Necklaces must be tucked inside the shirt
          o Hair bands, scrunchies, etc. must match the uniform plaid
Cold Weather Accommodations – Principal Discretion
          o Maroon or white tights
          o Gray dress pants
          o Outerwear: Maroon uniform sweaters, or windbreakers – see campus principal for details
          o Long-sleeved white blouse with peter pan collar (shirt tail must be long enough to remain tucked
              in when sitting or bending over.) -OR- Long-sleeved white oxford dress shirt with button down
              collar
DRESS CODE FOR BOYS:
   • Gray, pleated front dress slacks; Dickies, Carhart, and other brand work pants are not considered dress
      slacks
   • White cotton undershirt
   • White oxford dress shirts with button down collars (shirts should remain tucked in at all times EXCEPT
      for P.E.)
   • Black dress belt
   • Maroon plaid 4-in-hand tie
   • Black crew length dress socks
   • Black dress shoes with a rubber sole; Boots, chukkas, and athletic shoes are not considered dress shoes
   • Male hairstyles must be above the collar, ears, and eye brows
   • Jewelry (optional)
          o 1 ring per hand
          o 1 watch
          o Necklaces must be tucked inside the shirt

NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR DRESS CODE
   • Sagging or low-rise pants
   • Visible colors or lettering on undershirts; undershirts other than white
   • Body piercing; earrings on boys
   • Bandanas of any kind
   • Nail polish or artificial finger nails
   • Athletic shoes (except during P.E.)
   • Altered hair color (including highlights); distracting hair styles or designs
   • Bracelets of any kind
   • Head coverings of any kind
   • Uniform pieces that are too small, torn, contain non-factory markings, or are otherwise altered
