Mary Ann Enzweiler, MBA-Finance, Certified Public Accountant
Mary Ann and her husband were the chairpersons for the Cardinal Gibbons Annual Fund Drive –’09-10 and
she currently serves as the Junior Class Chair of the same fund. Mary Ann also coaches the Varsity Girls’
basketball team at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish School. The Enzweilers have four children, Tara (class of
2006, University of Notre Dame), Thomas, Matthew and Luke.
Tim Gabel, Vice-President, RTI International; Chair of Triangle Board of Directors
Tim served on the coaching staff at Triangle for two years as an IMPACT and CAP certified head coach. As a
long-time volleyball enthusiast, Tim is an active member of USAV, the Carolina Region, and a certified
volleyball official. He is currently serving on the CR Junior Advisory Board. Tim received his MBA from the
Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. Tim and his wife Lisa have two daughters, Colby and Kelsey (a
member of Triangle’s 15 Black team this season).
Patricia Phillips, Chief Executive Officer, SNP, Inc.
Pat brings both corporate leadership and tremendous board experience to Triangle. She has served on the
Emily Krzyzewski Family Life Center Board of Directors, the Saint Francis of Assisi Parish and Finance
Councils, the Cardinal Gibbons Family Association and the Immaculata Home and School Association. She
and her husband Glenn live in Durham and have four children, Veronica, Cale, Ginny (Class of 2007, College
of Charleston) and current Triangle player, Victoria (Class of 2012, committed to UNC Wilmington).
Joseph A. Sagula, Head Volleyball Coach, UNC-Chapel Hill
Joe has been a NCAA Division I coach for over thirty years. From 1981-1990 he was the head coach at the
University of Pennsylvania for both the men's & women's teams. He became the head coach at the
University of North Carolina in 1990 and has been directing the Tar Heel program for the past 21 years. He
served on the AVCA (American Volleyball Coaches Association) board for 14 years including two years as
President of the Association, and AVCA Awards Chair for 8 years. He is a member of the USA Volleyball
Coaching Cadre, and has served as coach with multiple USA select teams as well as a member of the USA
Volleyball Board from 1996-98. Coach Sagula and his wife Ingrid Weber-Sagula reside in Chapel Hill.
Dr. William E. Willis, Jr., Ph.D Ch.E.
‘Billy’ brings great breadth of experience to Triangle’s board. He has served as Deputy Chief Information
Officer for the State of North Carolina, professor and Vice-Provost at NC State University, faculty member
of the Kenan-Flagler School of Business (UNC), and Information Technologies Vice-President of several local
and global companies. He has served on multiple boards, both non-profit and for-profit. An accomplished
musician, Billy and his wife Allison live in Raleigh and have two children, Elizabeth (Class of 2008, Wingate
University) and Zachary.
Sam Casey Caram, President and Executive Director, Triangle Volleyball Club, Inc.
Casey hails from Oklahoma City and spent his undergraduate years at Vassar College (NY) where he won an
EIVA/NCAA Division III men’s volleyball title in 1995. After college, he attended graduate school at the
University of Chicago and then worked as a school administrator and teacher of theology, philosophy, and
ethics. Casey has coached seven high school state championship teams and was head coach of the men’s
volleyball team at Duke University where he led the Blue Devils to their first-ever NIRSA DI-AA national
championship in 2004. He co-founded Triangle in 2002 and has twice been awarded with USA Volleyball’s
Robert L. Lindsey Meritorious Service Award for his work developing junior volleyball. He has served as
Executive Director of Triangle since 2004. Casey graduated with an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler School of
Business in September, 2010 and will retire from Triangle in July, 2011.
Sherry Fadool, Secretary and Associate Director, Triangle Volleyball Club, Inc.
Sherry is slated to assume the role of Executive Director upon the retirement of current Executive Director,
Casey Caram. Her leadership and commitment to excellence will insure Triangle’s success both regionally
and nationally. Sherry began working with Triangle in 2006 to provide marketing and operations support for
Triangle’s newly commissioned facility. She was hired as Triangle’s Director of Business Operations in 2007
and promoted to Associate Director in 2009. Sherry holds a B.S. in Chemistry and a M.S. in Chemical
Engineering. She has over 20 years of leadership experience in community organizations and the not-for-
profit industry. Sherry and her husband, John, live in Raleigh. They have two children, Jeff and Michelle
(Class of 2010).
