continuous operation without any failure or downtime since 1991 and now controls over 5,500 devices in 11 cities and on 2

The invention provides a system and method for providing network-based security services. The invention enables a customer to
select policy implementations for automatic distribution, installation, and configuration management onto the customer’s network.
The invention also improves the way that security events are collected, analyzed, and responded to.

                  METHOD OF DOING BUSINESS AND SECURITY INSTRUMENT (Application 20030208397)

Disclosed are a method of doing business and a security instrument. An exemplary method includes creating an equity pool with a
plurality of equity interests; and compensating an associate, who has completed a milestone of a project, with a portion of the
equity pool. An exemplary security instrument includes an equity pool and a security interest in the equity pool.

      Chief Technical Officer. e-Effort primarily provides contract consulting services. e-Effort was formed to assist other
          electronic commerce startups while developing the e-Effort website for accepting, submitting, and managing remote
          work (a virtual workplace). Conducted business reviews, including detailed review and assistance with business
          models, market analysis and planning, management reviews, financing approaches, presentations to venture capitalists,
          etc. These reviews resulted in published reports and / or investments in the businesses. Assisted enterprises in
          improving operations, strategy, and fund raising.

      Start-up developing an intellectual property concept mapping and valuation system. Architect and database designer. Wrote

     e-Effort Assisted Venture: Dynasty Hospital Accreditation, LP, 2004–2006
      Developing Hospital Accreditation Management System using Oracle 10, J2EE, and DreamWeaver technology for Chinese
          company.
      The system will provide an educationally oriented continuous improvement facility for small to medium hospitals in China.
          Hospitals and their staff will answer questions that led to trend analysis and assessment of the overall hospital quality
          and will receive education regarding best practices as part of this accreditation data collection process.

     e-Effort Venture: Allegent Technology (formerly Solvent Solutions, Inc.), 2002-2005, Chief Architect
      Allegent Technology developed an IT enterprise security management solution that improved an enterprise’s ability to
          rapidly respond to security threats and minimize financial damages associated with downtime. SolventView represents a
          new breed of solutions needed to manage an enterprise's continual process improvement program for computer security.
      Architected system for comprehensive monitoring and configuration management designed for enterprise IT health and
          security. It is an infrastructure for scalable and extensible system monitoring, analysis, and control. Different
          application-level plug-ins perform monitoring and management tasks for specific network elements and report based on
          user-defined rules. They also utilize the information generated by these agents for many purposes, including analysis
          and correlation, trend reporting, alert response, and information archival.
      Principal author on Patent application for system.

     e-Effort Contract: Department of Energy Project, TMR, Inc. , REI, Inc. 2002-2003
      Project manager and technical lead for the Department of Energy’s Deputy Secretary's Quarterly Reporting System project,
          implemented an analyst level project management and reporting system in nine weeks. Gathered and analyzed
          requirements; managed development team; architected, designed and developed database and application code,
          programmed new java application to generate custom MS Word report including complex graphics. Performed software
          installation and management, unit and integration testing and deployment in the test systems.
      Project manager and technical lead for the Department of Energy’s SCARDI project, implemented a complete end-to-end R
          and D project evaluation system in five weeks. For the Department of Justice’s Local Law Enforcement Block Grant
          Program, directed the development of portions of the grants management application. Gathered and analyzed
          requirements; managed development team; architected, designed and developed database and application code.
          Performed software installation and management, unit and integration testing and deployment in the test and production
          environments. Architect/Analyst/DBA/Programmer for other web-based projects that involved design and rapid
          development of large web-based information management systems.

      Developed Credential Management System using Oracle 8, IBM WebSphere, DreamWeaver and NetObjects technology for
         certification, credential verification, and continuing education.
      The system provided a secure environment in which the individual created their personal profile detailing their
         achievements, requirements and personal preferences and took accredited courses or viewed content from other
         providers. It allowed on-Line registration and purchase of selected courses and content with all necessary administrative
         monitoring and management of users by groups, employer, association, etc.

     e-Effort Contract: Mogee Research & Analysis Associates, 1999
      Consultant. Mapped several key areas of Information Technology based upon patent, internet and research paper searches
         and interviews of IT professionals. Performed gap analysis and completed clustering for combined basis of over 4000
         sub-categories. Constructed database for visualization of map and underlying data. Created collaboration website for
         effort.

     e-Effort Contract: The Centech Group, 1998-1999
      Consultant. Developed datawarehouse architectural model in Oracle Designer and Discoverer for comparing existing
          customer systems and vendor tools to required function using OLAP.

      Planned and designed prototype for internet oriented satellite broadcast network for delivery of digital, multimedia
          programming.
      Led international team in completing prototype in eight weeks. Group included eighteen artists, designers and programmers
          from three US cities and from Iceland.

      Consultant, under full-time contract to lead team implementing asset and document control systems for two major oil firms,
          each having multiple sites and platforms. Client-Server system was implemented using ORACLE tools. Performed all
          ORACLE DBA functions, all unix, communications, and Macintosh configuration and administration at multiple sites.
          Developed ORACLE CASE model and SQL*FORMS maintenance forms for system. Wrote all Excel spreadsheets and
          macros for data and forms development. Performed data conversions and database design. Performed installations and
          training at several locations. Managed all subcontractors. Developed system encompasses unix/Mac/PC office, image,
          multimedia documents, physical rock samples, and physical containers. Asset management and control, security, and
