“How To Develop Marketing Plans”

This highly interactive ½ day workshop concentrates on the practical aspects of marketing planning i.e. how to develop focused marketing programs linked to organization’s strategy and situation using a logical planning process. In this way marketing becomes more relevant and effective, and plans, programs and budgets become easier to justify. Good quality planning is essential to make this happen. The aim of this workshop is for every delegate to leave with a checklist of actions to improve planning in their own organization. Lectures, checklist, tools, examples and exercises will be used to facilitate this outcome.

Shanti Subramaniam has more than 15 years of training and academic experience in areas related to marketing such as marketing, marketing planning, marketing planning tools and techniques, strategic marketing management, customer service and brand development. Shanti is currently the Director and Principal Consultant of Work Solutions HRT. Some of the companies that had participated in her programs are Landmarks Berhad, Mayduct Technology, Schneider Electric, The Under Shop, Shell Refining Company (Port Dickson). Shanti holds a B. Management (Marketing) from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Masters in Marketing from the University of Newcastle, Australia. In addition to that, Shanti has pursued the Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching from the University of Tasmania, Australia and Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training from University of Ballarat, Australia. She is also a Member of CIM U.K., Malaysian Institute of Management and Women’s Institute of Management, Malaysia. Shanti is actively involved in the Malaysian Association of Chartered Institute of Marketing as the Vice President of the Marketing Educators Group.
