I.     SITUATION
         a. Purpose. To provide information and planning guidance for the Los
         Angeles Officer Selection Team (OST) Officer Candidates School
         Preparation Weekend.
         b. Background. OST from Recruiting Station Los Angeles is requesting
         to use the training areas aboard Camp Pendleton in order to prepare
         Candidates for success at Officer Candidates School (OCS).

II. MISSION. OST Los Angeles will conduct OCS preparation training from 11-
13 April, 2008 at the San Mateo (62 Area) of Camp Pendleton in order to
increase each Officer Candidate’s potential for success at Officer Candidates
School.

III.    EXECUTION.

        A. Intent: To introduce all the Officer Candidates, in our program, to
        experience some of the training and meet instructors that they will
        encounter while at OCS. The purpose of this training is to prepare the
        Candidates for OCS and help reduce attrition. Endstate: At the
        conclusion of this training, all participants will have completed all
        the scheduled training events safely and timely. Participants will be
        better prepared both mentally and physically for OCS.

        B. Concept of Operations: The participants that are traveling greater
        than 100 miles will arrive, as the advanced party, on Friday the 11th
        of April NLT 2000. After being issued their gear, they will bivouac in
        the vicinity of the 62 Area Amphitheater. All other candidates and

     staff will arrive on site NLT 0730 on Saturday the 12th of April. Once
     the bivouac site has been established and all training gear has been
     issued, the participants will move immediately into the training
     schedule (enclosure (1)). In general terms, Friday will consist of
     advanced party arrival and assembly area setup, Saturday will consist
     of a physical fitness test, obstacle course introduction, close order
     drill, weapons familiarization, small unit leadership training, and
     land navigation. Sunday will consist of a 5-mile hike followed by a
     police call, gear turn in, and remedial O-Course. All participants
     will be secured from training with the bivouac area policed and gear
     turned in no later than 1600 on the 13th of April.

     C. Scheme of Maneuver: The OCS Prep-Weekend will be broken into (5)
     phases to ensure all planning, coordination, and execution of training
     are completed.


           (1)   Phase 1: INITIAL PLANNING (JAN 14 – FEB 14)
                 (a) All requests for training will be requested by Capt
                 Chan, OSO Los Angeles to Capt Adan C. Maldonado, Operations
                 Officer, 1st CEB, 62 Area, MCB Camp Pendelton (760) 763-
                 7906. Dry runs will be conducted in the designated
                 training areas.

                 (b) All Hold Harmless Agreements will be cleared through
                 GySgt Jackway, Public Affairs, MCB Camp Pendelton (760)
                 763-4988.

                 (c) Request for (2) Sergeant Instructor will be made
                 through OCS Operations at Officer Candidate School
                 (703)432-6145. Request for (2) AMOI will be made through
                 Maj Palmer at University of Southern California NROTC
                 Department. Lodging for OCS personnel will be secured by
                 Capt Chan.

                 (d) LOI will be routed through 12th Marine Corps District
                 Executive Officer to the Commanding Officer, 1CEB for final
                 approval.

                 (e) Alpha rosters of all participating personnel will be
                 finalized and submitted to Captain Chan.

           (2)   Phase 2: MID-PLANNING (FEB 15 – MAR 25)
                 (a) OST Los Angeles will coordinate with SOI supply to
                 pick up all requested gear on 11 April 2008.
                 (b) OST Los Angeles will coordinate with 1CEB to ensure
                 all requests for support are approved.

           (3)   Phase 3: FINAL PLANNING (MAR 26 – APR 04)
                 (a) OST Los Angeles will confirm with SOI supply to pick
                 up all requested gear on 11 April 2008.
                 (b) Communications equipment will be issued by 1CEB, S-3.

           (4)   Phase 4: EXECUTION (APR 11-13)
                 (a) See Enclosure for Schedule of Events.

                   (b) Details of training execution will be made available
                   as coordination with the Sergeant Instructor and adjacent
                   commands have all been confirmed.

            (5)    Phase 5: MISSION COMPLETE
                   (a) Upon completion of training on 13 April 2008, all gear
                   issued for training will be accounted for and returned to
                   SOI and 1CEB.
                   (b) All areas used for training will be policed and
                   secured NLT 1600 on 13 April 2008.



     D.   Tasks
            (1)   OSO

                   PHASE I: INITIAL PLANNING (JAN 14 – FEB 14)

                   Task: Coordinate With 1CEB Commanding Officer, S-3, and
                   Supply.
                   Purpose: Request training support and coordination for use
                   of training areas, parking, weapons, water, communications
                   equipment, and other miscellaneous gear. Ensure that
                   training occurs in accordance with Camp Pendleton
                   guidelines.

                   Task: Coordinate and conduct site survey on Camp Pendleton
                   for possible training areas for OCS Prep Weekend
                   Purpose: Find appropriate training areas that are capable
                   of supporting the intended training events.

                   Task: Coordinate with SOI S-3 and Supply.
                   Purpose: Request for standard gear issue to support over
                   night field training on board Camp Pendleton training
                   areas.

                   Task: Coordinate with RS LA Supply.
                   Purpose: Request for MREs to support all participants and
                   staff attending OCS Prep Weekend.

                   Task: Coordinate with OCS Operations at Officer Candidates
                   School.
                   Purpose: Request for the most recent lesson outlines for
                   classes being taught at OCS. Request at least one OCS
                   Sergeant Instructor to support in this training.
                   Coordinate TAD arrangements for the Sergeant Instructor.

                   Task: Arrange for Corpsman support with 12MCD Corpsman or
                   62 Area Medical.
                   Purpose: Ensure safe execution of training events and
                   provide immediate medical care in the event of an
                   emergency.

                   Task: Coordinate with MOI UCLA/USC to begin a roster of all
                   participants.

                 Purpose: Provide relevant physical information to medical
                 personnel in the response of a medical emergency (include
                 names, SSN, date of birth, blood type, and known allergies)
                 and to ensure that provisions (chow, water, gear) are
                 provided in adequate numbers.

                 Task: Organize your participants into buddy teams, fire
                 teams, and squads with relevant candidate billet holders.
                 Purpose: Provide added layer of accountability as well as
                 introduce participants to the concept of peer leadership.

                 Task: Create a gear list for distribution to all
                 participating and support personnel.
                 Purpose: Facilitate effective and efficient training for
                 all participants.

                 Task: Obtain Hold Harmless Agreement forms.
                 Purpose: To ensure all participants understand that their
                 participation is voluntary and that the USMC is not liable
                 for injuries.

                 Task: Provide Range Safety Officer in accordance with range
                 regulations.
                 Purpose: Comply with Camp Pendleton requirements for
                 training.

                 Phase II: MID-PLANNING (FEB 15 – MAR 25)
                 Task: Coordinate with 1CEB S-3 and Supply to see which
                 request for support are approved or disapproved.
                 Purpose: To identify the shortfalls for proper execution of
                 OCS Prep Weekend. Follow-up, submit new requests,
                 coordinate with other units as needed to fulfill shortfalls
                 in support for use of training areas, weapons, water,
                 communications, safety vehicles, corpsman, and other
                 miscellaneous gear.

                 Task: Coordinate and Conduct site survey of the intended
                 training areas that will be used for OCS Prep Weekend
                 Purpose: Perform a walk through of the training areas to
                 ensure that the intended areas are suitable for training.

                 Task: Contact SOI S-3 and Supply.
                 Purpose: Confirm that requests for gear issue IOT support
                 overnight field training on board Camp Pendleton have been
                 submitted.

                 Task: Contact RS LA Supply.
                 Purpose: Confirm that MRE request has been submitted.

                 Task: Contact MSgt Babb at Officer Candidate School.
                 Purpose: Confirm that the request for (2) OCS Sergeant
                 Instructor is available to support OCS Prep Weekend.

                 Task: Contact 12MCD Corpsman.
                 Purpose: Confirm that the 12MCD Corpsman can support OCS
                 Prep Weekend.

                 Task: Contact SSgt Henderson Operations Chief BASE OPS.
                 Purpose: Confirm that the OST is permitted to train on Camp
                 Pendleton with civilians.

                 Task: Coordinate with MOI for updates with changes in the
                 schedule of events.
                 Purpose: To identify any shortfalls in their transportation
                 plan, advance party roster, participant roster, hold
                 harmless agreement forms, and confirm participation for OCS
                 Prep Weekend.



                 Phase III: FINAL PLANNING (MAR 26 – APR 04)

                 Task: Contact 1CEB S-3 and Supply.
                 Purpose: To confirm all requested support of training
                 areas, weapons, water, communications, safety vehicle,
                 driver, corpsman, and other miscellaneous gear has been
                 approved.

                 Task: Brief 1CEB Commanding Officer and S-3.
                 Purpose: To inform the supporting unit on the final results
                 from planning and any changes not already discussed.

                 Task: Coordinate and conduct site survey the week prior of
                 the intended training areas prior to Execution or as
                 required.
                 Purpose: Ensure that the training areas are still suitable
                 to support the intended training events. Ensure all safety
                 measures are taken into consideration to prevent injury.

                 Task: Contact SOI S-3 and Supply.
                 Purpose: Confirm pick-up times of all gear requested to
                 support OCS Prep Weekend.

                 Task: Coordinate with RS LA Supply transportation of MREs.
                 Purpose: To coordinate logistical movement of MREs.

                 Task: Contact OSC Operations.
                 Purpose: Confirm TAD request for (2) Sergeant Instructors
                 to support OCS Prep Weekend is complete.

                 Task: Contact 12MCD Corpsman
                 Purpose: Confirm support of OCS Prep Weekend

                 Task: Coordinate with MOI to confirm deliverables.
                 Purpose: Finalize all rosters, gear lists, collect all Hold
                 Harmless Agreement Forms, and finalize transportation
                 arrangements.

                 Phase IV: EXECUTION (APR   11-13)
                 FRI
                 Task: Pick up individual   gear issue for candidates at SOI
                 Purpose: To expedite the   gear issue before candidates
                 arrive to Camp Pendleton   and save time during training.

                 Task: Setup GP Tents
                 Purpose: One GP tent will be used to store supplies and as
                 a Command Post. The other GP Tent will be used for female
                 participants as a changing room.

                 Task: Setup first-aid station
                 Purpose: To provide a central location where participants
                 can seek medical attention.

                 Task: Inspect the PFT run route and pull-up bars.
                 Purpose: Ensure all safety measures are taken into
                 consideration to prevent injury.

                 Task: Provide Range Safety Officer in accordance with range
                 regulations.
                 Purpose: Comply with Camp Pendleton requirements for
                 training.

                 Task: Provide Officer in Charge in accordance with range
                 regulations.
                 Purpose: Comply with Camp Pendleton requirements for
                 training.

                 Task: Provide (2) Assistant Operators for the 5 mile hike
                 on 13 April 2008.
                 Purpose: Provide safety personnel for emergency medical
                 care should an ambulance become necessary. Transport hike
                 drops to the end of the hike.


                 SAT
                 Task: Setup water stations at the center of operation and
                 water jugs at each training area. Have medical personnel
                 during the execution of all training events.
                 Purpose: Prevent dehydration and aggravated medical
                 problems.

                 Task: Inspect the Port-A-Jons.
                 Purpose: Ensure they have sufficient toilet papers and is
                 serviceable during the training evolution.

                 Task: Prepare the Obstacle Course for use by clearing
                 debris and wiping all surfaces dry.
                 Purpose: Ensure all safety measures are taken into
                 consideration to prevent injury.

                 Task: Accompany participants through each stage of
                 training.

                 Purpose: Provide supplemental instruction, assistance and
                 supervision to your participants as they execute each
                 portion of the training schedule.

                 Task: Maintain accountability of all participants and gear
                 throughout the scheduled training.
                 Purpose: Maintain accountability of all participants.

                 Phase V: MISSION COMPLETE

                 Task: Conduct police call of all training areas used for
                 OCS Prep Weekend.
                 Purpose: Ensure the areas that were used are left better
                 than it was received.

                 Task: Supervise gear turn in to SOI Supply personnel.
                 Purpose: Ensure 100% accountability of all gear turned back
                 into supply warehouse.

                 Task: Supervise gear turn in to 1CEB.
                 Purpose: Ensure 100% accountability of all communications
                 equipment, weapons, serialized gear, and miscellaneous gear
                 turned back into supply and armory respectively.

           (2)   1CEB:

                 Phase I: INITIAL PLANNING (JAN 14 – FEB 14)
                 Request: Meet with OST LA for support on the execution of
                 OCS Prep Weekend.
                 Purpose: Request training support and coordination for use
                 of training areas, parking, weapons, water, communications
                 equipment, and other miscellaneous gear. Ensure that
                 training occurs in accordance with Camp Pendleton
                 guidelines.

                 Request: Assist OST LA with coordination of areas used for
                 training on Camp Pendleton as needed.
                 Purpose: Find appropriate training areas that are capable
                 of supporting the intended training events.

                 Request: Arrange for Corpsman support with 62 Area Medical
                 as needed.
                 Purpose: Ensure safe execution of training events and
                 provide immediate medical care in the event of an
                 emergency.

                 Phase IV: EXECUTION (APR 11-13)
                 FRI
                 Request: Provide (1) GP Tents on 11 April 2008
                 Purpose: (1) GP tent will be used to store supplies and as
                 a Command Post. The other GP Tent will be used for female
                 participants as a changing room.

                 Request: (14) Engineer Stakes + (2) Sledge Hammers for pick
                 up on 11 Apr 2008.
                 Purpose: Provide navigation points and navigation classes
                 to train officer candidates in the fundamentals in land
                 navigation.

                 Request: Provide access to the Sapper building NLT 1200 on
                 11 Apr 2008.
                 Purpose: Provide a secured site to use as a command post
                 and to store supplies used for the training event.

                 Request: (6) PRC-153 + (6) Spare batteries
                 Purpose: Primary means of communications for command and
                 control.

                 Request: (2) PRC-148 + (As required qty) Spare batteries
                 Purpose: For primary means of communications with Long
                 Rifle
                 Request: (1) Water Bowl on site IVO the 62 Area
                 Ampitheater.
                 Purpose: Provide water for consumption. Prevent
                 dehydration and aggravated medical problems.

                 Request: Provide (60) M16A2/A4 for pick up NLT 1100 on 12
                 Apr 2008. If M16A2 rifles are not available, then the next

                 closest model that can be used for drill can be used as a
                 substitute.
                 Purpose: Provide weapons to train officer candidates in
                 armed drill, weapons nomenclature, and weapons handling.

                 Request: Provide (20) NVGs for pick up NLT 1100 on 12 Apr
                 2008.
                 Purpose: Provide motivational training to officer
                 candidates.

                 Request: Provide (50) Compasses for pick up NLT 1100 on 12
                 Apr 2008.
                 Purpose: Provide land navigation classes to train officer
                 candidates in the fundamentals in land navigation.

                 Request: Armory be ready to receive (60) M16A2/A4, (20)
                 NVGs, (50) Compasses NLT 1700 on 12 Apr 2008.
                 Purpose: Secure all weapons and serialized gear.

                 Request: Assist in moving (9) Port-A-Jons on site IVO the
                 62 Area Ampitheater.
                 Purpose: Ensure they are serviceable for the duration of
                 the training evolution.

                 Request: Provide (2) High Back HMMWV’s and (2) licensed
                 driver for the 5 mile hike on 13 April 2008.
                 Purpose: Provide safety vehicle(s) for emergency medical
                 care should an ambulance become necessary. Transport hike
                 drops to the end of the hike.

                 Request: Arrange for (2) Corpsman   support.
                 Purpose: Ensure safe execution of   training events and
                 provide immediate medical care in   the event of an
                 emergency. Have the (2) Corpsman    report to the OIC NLT
                 0745 on Saturday 12 April 2008.

                 Request: Arrange for Static Display in the vicinity of the
                 Rappel Tower. The Static Display should include (1) Hard
                 Back HMMWV with mounted .50Cal, (1) HardBack HMMWV with
                 mounted MK19, (1) M240G, (1) M249, (1) M16A4 with M203
                 attached, (1) Marine with full combat gear, (1) 2ndLt fresh
                 out of TBS if available; include any other equipment and
                 vehicle that would boost morale and that is also
                 appropriate for photos.
                 Purpose: Based upon availability, the guidance provided is
                 to display any gear, weapons, or equipment that would make
                 a great photo opportunity. The photos will be used for
                 recruiting purpose on board university campuses as an
                 advertising and marketing tool.

                 Phase V: MISSION COMPLETE
                 Request: Have personnel assist and inspect the police call
                 of all training areas used by OST LA for OCS Prep Weekend.
                 Purpose: Ensure the areas that were used are left better
                 than they were received.

                  Request: Confirm all gear turn into 1CEB personnel.
                  Purpose: Ensure 100% accountability of all gear turned back
                  into Supply.

                  Request: Confirm all weapons and serialized gear are turned
                  into 1CEB Armory.
                  Purpose: Ensure 100% accountability of all communications
                  equipment, weapons, serialized gear, and miscellaneous gear
                  turned back into the armory.


           (3)   School of Infantry Supply, MCB Camp Pendelton, CA

                  PHASE I: INITIAL PLANNING (JAN 14 – FEB 14)

                  Request: Coordinate with Capt Chan on gear requirements for
                  approximately 120 candidates: Patrol pack, LBV, (2)
                  canteens, (1) canteen cup, sleeping bag system, and (1) ISO
                  mat.
                  Purpose: Provide participants with the gear necessary for
                  the successful execution of this training.


                  Phase III: FINAL PLANNING (MAR 26 – APR 04)

                  Request: Confirmation on requests submitted by Capt Chan
                  for gear to support overnight field training on Camp
                  Pendleton.


                  Phase IV: EXECUTION (APR 11-13)

                  Request: Have Marines ready to issue gear for field
                  training. There will be an advanced party sent to SOI
                  Supply to pick up individual gear issue for candidates.
                  Purpose: To expedite the gear issue before candidates
                  arrive to Camp Pendleton and save time for training.

                  Phase V: MISSION COMPLETE

                  Request: Be Prepared to receive and supervise gear issued
                  to Capt Chan for OCS Prep Weekend training NLT 1530 on 13
                  April 2008
                  Purpose: Ensure 100% accountability of all gear turned back
                  into supply warehouse.

           (4)   MOI

                  PHASE I: INITIAL PLANNING (JAN 14 – FEB 14)

                  Request: Provide OST LA with both AMOI from USC and UCLA to
                  act as Sergeant Instructors.
                  Purpose: Facilitate effective and efficient training for
                  all participants.

                 Task: Coordinate and conduct site survey on Camp Pendleton

                 UCLA and USC NROTC Programs.

                 and to ensure that provisions (chow, water, gear) are
                 provided in adequate numbers.

                 Task: Provide OST LA with an advanced party to arrive on
                 Camp Pendleton on 11 April 2008.
                 Purpose: to provide a working party IOT setup the command
                 post and pick up gear from SOI.

                 Task: Organize your participants into buddy teams, fire
                 teams, and squads with relevant candidate billet holders.
                 Purpose: Provide added layer of accountability as well as
                 introduce participants to the concept of peer leadership.

                 Task: Create a gear list for distribution to all
                 participating and support personnel.
                 Purpose: Facilitate effective and efficient training for
                 all participants.

                 Task: Obtain Hold Harmless Agreement forms.
                 Purpose: To ensure all participants understand that their

                 Task: Pick up individual   gear issue for candidates at SOI
                 Purpose: To expedite the   gear issue before candidates
                 arrive to Camp Pendleton   and save time during training.

                 Task: Setup GP Tents
                 Purpose: One GP tent will be used to store supplies and as
                 a Command Post. The other GP Tent will be used for female
                 participants as a changing room.

                 Task: Setup first-aid station
                 Purpose: To provide a central location where participants
                 can seek medical attention.

                 Task: Inspect the PFT run route and pull-up bars.
                 Purpose: Ensure all safety measures are taken into
                 consideration to prevent injury.

                 Task: Provide Range Safety Officer in accordance with range
                 regulations.
                 Purpose: Comply with Camp Pendleton requirements for
                 training.

                 Task: Provide Officer in Charge in accordance with range
                 regulations.
                 Purpose: Comply with Camp Pendleton requirements for
                 training.


                 SAT
                 Task: Setup water stations at the center of operation and
                 water jugs at each training area. Have medical personnel
                 during the execution of all training events.
                 Purpose: Prevent dehydration and aggravated medical
                 problems.

                 Task: Inspect the Port-A-Jons.
                 Purpose: Ensure they have sufficient toilet paper and are
                 serviceable during the training evolution.

                 Task: Prepare the Obstacle Course for use by clearing
                 debris and wiping all surfaces dry.
                 Purpose: Ensure all safety measures are taken into
                 consideration to prevent injury.

                 Task: Accompany your participants through each stage of
                 training.

                 Purpose: Provide supplemental instruction, assistance and
                 supervision to your participants as they execute each
                 portion of the training schedule.

                 Task: Maintain accountability of all participants from your
                 office throughout the scheduled training.
                 Purpose: Maintain accountability of all participants.

                 Phase V: MISSION COMPLETE

                 Task: Conduct police call of all training areas used for
                 OCS Prep Weekend.
                 Purpose: Ensure the areas that were used are left better
                 than it was received.

                 Task: Supervise gear turn in to SOI Supply personnel.
                 Purpose: Ensure 100% accountability of all gear turned back
                 into supply warehouse.

                 Task: Supervise gear turn in to 1CEB.
                 Purpose: Ensure 100% accountability of all communications
                 equipment, weapons, serialized gear, and miscellaneous gear
                 turned back into supply and armory respectively.




           (5) OCS S-3

                 PHASE I: INITIAL PLANNING (JAN 14 – FEB 14)

                 Request: Coordination with Capt Chan to identify (2)
                 Sergeant Instructor to support OCS Prep Weekend on Camp
                 Pendleton and provide relevant information regarding
                 current lesson outlines taught at OCS.
                 Purpose: Request for the most recent lesson outlines for
                 classes being taught at OCS. Request (2) OCS Sergeant
                 Instructors to support this training. Coordinate TAD
                 arrangements for the Sergeant Instructor(s).


                 Phase II: MID-PLANNING (FEB 15 – MAR 25)

                 Request: Update Capt Chan on requests for updated course
                 materials taught at OCS and TAD request for (2) OCS
                 Sergeant Instructor(s).
                 Purpose: Confirm that the request for (2) OCS Sgt
                 Instructor is available to support OCS Prep Weekend.

                 Phase III: FINAL PLANNING (MAR 26 – APR 04)

                 Request: Contact Capt Chan with updated status on TAD
                 request as needed.
                 Purpose: Confirm and finalize TAD request for (2) Sgt
                 Instructor to support OCS Prep Weekend is complete.

                   Phase V: MISSION COMPLETE

                   Request: Contact Capt Chan with updated status on TAD
                   request as needed.
                   Purpose: Confirm and finalize TAD travel claim for (2)
                   Sergeant Instructor ISO OCS Prep Weekend on 11-13 April
                   2008.

             (6)   RS LA Supply

                   PHASE I: INITIAL PLANNING (JAN 14 – FEB 14)

                   Task: Coordinate with Officer Selection Team for support
                   needed for OCS Prep Weekend.
                   Purpose: Request for MREs and other miscellaneous gear
                   needed to support all participants and staff attending OCS
                   Prep Weekend.

                   Phase II: MID-PLANNING (FEB 15 – MAR 25)

                   Task: Contact RS LA Supply.
                   Purpose: Confirm that MRE and other miscellaneous gear
                   requests have been submitted.

                   Phase III: FINAL PLANNING (MAR 26 – APR 04)

                   Task: Coordinate with RS LA Supply transportation of MREs.
                   Purpose: To coordinate logistical movement of MREs.



IV.   ADMINISTRATION AND LOGISTICS
       A. Administration
             1. Supply:
                   a. Individual gear for overnight training will be drawn
                   from SOI supply and weapons will be drawn from the 62 Area
                   Armory in accordance with the attached timeline. Logistical
                   support other than personal gear will be provided by S-3
                   1CEB staff and acquired by Capt Chan.

                   b. MREs, water, GP Tent, and other gear will be drawn and
                   staged at appropriate areas throughout the training
                   evolution. Requests for re-supply of any item will not be
                   needed.

             2. Medical:
                   a. The primary Corpsman for this evolution will be HM1
                   Campanano of the 12th Marine Corps District. Should a need
                   arise for medical support or care beyond the capabilities
                   of HM1 Campanano, it will be requested from the 62 Area
                   medical clinic via HM1 Campanano.

                   b. All staff should remain vigilant in their awareness of
                   potential dehydration by supervising the consumption of
                   appropriate amounts of fluids throughout the training.

             3. Administration:
                   a. Personnel: OSO will have a complete Alpha roster of
                   participating personnel no later than 1 April, 2008 (format
                   is enclosure (d).) Rosters will be compiled into one
                   master list and two copies will be made. Capt Chan will
                   keep the original, On-Site Corpsman will have one copy and
                   Duty Officer 1CEB (62 Area) will have the other copy.

                   b. Port-a-jons will available in the training areas.

                   c. The bivouac area will be divided into three designated
                   area; males, females, staff (see enclosure (e).)

                   d. The appropriate uniform for each event is identified in
                   enclosure (a).

                   e. No civilian participant will be allowed to participate
                   without signing a hold-harmless agreement. Hold harmless
                   agreements will be maintained by Capt Chan.


      B.   Logistics
                   a. All participants will have no less than 1 quart of water
                   on their person during all events throughout this training
                   with the exception of the obstacle course. Chow will be
                   continuous throughout the evolution and provided in places
                   designated by enclosure(a).

                   b. Safety vehicles for the hike will be provided by 1CEB.

                   c. Police call is continuous. All staff will be
                   responsible for trash collection in their areas.

             2. (6) PRC-153 radios will be the primary means of communication
             with Range Control and Staff during the Execution Phase.
