A MESSAGE FROM THE PASTOR
ON OUR 50TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
Dear Parishioners,
We are celebrating the 50th Anniversary of our School on Friday, October 16, 2009 starting at 4:30PM
with tours of the school and the new church, 6:30PM with a Mass in O’Mara Hall, and 8PM with a dinner in
the World Trade Center Gym. There will be a $25 per person charge for the dinner.
We had been planning to have our dinner celebration in the Excelsior but, due to the economy and
popular demand, we will be transferring our dinner celebration to the school. It will make it more affordable
for all those who wish to attend this historic dinner and meet many of the priests, sisters, principals, and
teachers, who made Our Lady Star of the Sea the great school that it is.
Please come to the Rectory to register or send your information and payments to the rectory (even if you
have previously called) to reserve your space. We hope many of you will be able to join us for the whole
evening.
Sincerely,
Msgr. Jeff Conway
Pastor
